Before you buy this tape you need to understand what it's best used for.We use this tape at my parents medical practice to redact sensitive patient information before faxing, scanning or emailing certain documents. For example, we might use this tape to redact a patients name and DOB from an MRI scan if we need to keep the patient identifiers confidential. That being said, this tape IS NOT PERMANENT. Use this tape before scanning the document you want to redact. If you need to permanently redact information from an original document, consider using a redaction stamp. We use this tape because it allows us to redact lines of information instead of entire sections. Very handy but not permanent (can be scratched off). Keep that in mind. I recommend this tape. It's great for what it is.
