One of my favorite aspects of the upgrade to standard K-Tapes is the infusion of magnesium and menthol. I often apply magnesium to sore muscles, and this helps me skip that step but still allows this to stick! When I apply the tape, I get this delightful cooling sensation that feels somewhate revitalizing.A tip I’ve found particularly useful is that when removing the tape—especially in sensitive areas like the inside of my thigh—it’s much easier to do so after (or even during) a long, hot shower. The heat and moisture really help soften the adhesive, making removal a breeze and saving me from any unnecessary discomfort. Plus, I’ve noticed that preparing my skin by exfoliating before applying the tape makes a big difference. It helps the tape adhere better and last longer, giving me that extra bit of support when I need it most.

K tape is useful in itself and this one ups it by adding some MG and menthol which helps the muscles and seems to improve recovery. Good hold for the tape and size is precut and fits most common applications.

I use a decent amount of this type of tape on a day to day basis depending where I need it whether it be my ankle thighs or knees. I tend to run a decent amount and I am older. Thus things tend to flare up and hurt more than it used to on my body. This tape in particular gives a dual benefit that other tapes do not. Not only is the tape nice and adhesive, flexible and relatively water repellent but when you put it on, the menthol coating on the tape really helps sooth the problem areas and enhances the use of the tape. Now you are paying a premium for this tape as it is a decent amount more than your standard Kinesiology Tape, but I find that using it when I am having one of my more painful pre runs bouts is really helpful and keeps me pushing through.

I use these kinesiology tape often as I overstretch and get light sprains from playing tennis. These were perfect to use since they gave the icy/hold with the menthol infusion feeling and looses up my joints and sprains right away. The hold feels solid and it doesn't move when I adjust it. This is an easy reccomend.

These strips hold beautifully. They go on smooth and 3 days later, even after showering twice, they’re still on. The edges are coming up a little bit, but I’ve never had any K-tape that didn’t.The best thing about these is that with the cooling menthol, it saves me a step. Normally I put muscle rub on, have to let it dry, and then put the tape on. With these, I just put the tape on my knee and it’s ready to go.The only thing I’m not a fan of, and I know I’m in the minority, is that they are precut. This means if you need a little longer or shorter, you need to cut pieces which defeats the purpose of being precut! Like I said, I know I’m in the minority with preferring solid rolls, so I won’t let that affect the rating.
