Great for base camp, not backpacking friendly at all. It's very firm, and a good insulator. Uses it in minus 10 Celsius and couldn't feel any cold through it.

Too bulky & heavy to ever want to hike with but its comfort rivals a home mattress such as Casper or Helix and it's way lighter & more compact to carry than those. I slept on it comfortably for over a month as an overly tall man with reoccurring back problems & never had any complaints, it may have even improved my back. I was surprised that an air mattress only about 4 or 5 inches thick could comfortably keep me from contacting the ground as well as keep me insulated from it. I would say I'd buy it again but I already have two & they seem good enough quality to never need another. I highly recommend it for anyone that drives to their camping location, or if you don't drive I'd still recommend it I'd just also recommend buying a cart too haha

I bought this for my daughter for a girl guide camping trip. It inflates on its own very easily. It rolls up nice and small and comes with a great carry bag. We have used it a few times now and it still works really great. I have used other self-inflating mattresses like this in the past and they were really uncomfortable. My daughter had a really good sleep on this one. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my partner so that he'd be sleeping off of the ground while on his fishing trip (mid-end May on an island in Northern Ontaro).I bought this pad because of it's insulating properties, because it was self inflating and because it was rated for a heavier guy.He said that the pad fully inflated in the time it took to set up camp and catch dinner and that he was very warm and comfortable while he slept. He did recommend it to his friend because buddy was cold on an inflatable mattress.We are both happy with this pad and would definitely purchase one again.

I was looking for a sleeping pad with more insulation than an air mattress and this one seemed interesting specially with a $20 coupon at the time.I've since used it in fall and early winter (down to -5°C, and it insulates and provides comfort all night when paired with the right gear (sleeping bag, tent reflective liner, a fleece blanket as a sheet).Packs down a little too big but you are not taking it on your next backpacking trip anyway

Manual inflation was required the first few times. Deflation and folding is easy. Comfortable sleep.
