Works very well. I used to use a dremel with a stone size the same as the chain, but it would wear out quickly so I never had the proper groove in the chain link. This setup takes all the guesswork out of getting the chain sharpened.

Like the handle that came with the set the files r nice and sharp ready to go and the guide I've never needed a guide so couldn't tell ya lol but overall good bang for the buck 👍

I like the easy to use guide for proper filing angle. Comes with two round files and a flat file which I have no clue what it is for and how it is used. There are no instructions for this flat file. Handle attaches with solid spring pressure. Excellent deal.

I guess the Swedes really like using only pictures for their instructions. This sharpener is pretty straight forward and will get you RAZOR SHARP chain cutters without a lot of finagling. My cutters were all gouged and chipped and with some care and patience I was able to file them to a like-new appearance. No more chips, rounded cutter edges, etc. Theres a gauge for softwood and hardwood that I messed with for a bit but it didn't really make sense to me so i just sharpened as I normally would and got really, really good results. I think no matter how bad your chain is you can get it back to factory sharp with this jig, and it wasnt expensive at all. If you have the chains that this fits, buy it,

I have dealt with chainsaws for the past 30+ years and have purchased many sharpening tool but this tool is buy far the best and only sharpener I will be using from now on.
