Quick words about the continuity issue: This wrist strap indeed provides connectivity; however, it will not show continuity when tested with a multimeter due to its 1MOhm impedance. This specification aligns with its advertising and is a design feature meant to ensure safety. I’ll go back to this, but let me talk about the strap itself now.The strap is comfortable, easily adjustable, and appears durable. It can be connected to a grounded socket in a power supply using a banana plug or to the chassis of a device using an alligator clip, offering versatility in its use. The cable is both flexible and sturdy. A potential improvement could be the addition of a clip or mechanism for easier wearability, although its elastic band design was clear at the time of purchase, and it functions as expected.Regarding the continuity concerns mentioned by some users, my experience confirms the product's specifications. It has an impedance of about 1MOhm, which is intended to safeguard both the user and the devices by enabling a slow discharge of any static electricity. Direct grounding without any impedance could pose a risk if one were to encounter a high-voltage wire, as it facilitates a direct path to ground that could be hazardous. To verify this feature, one should use the impedance setting on a multimeter, expecting to see a value around 1MOhm. Most multimeters set their continuity detection threshold significantly below this, typically between tens and 500 Ohms, explaining why the continuity test may not trigger the expected buzzer sound.

Ürün güzel fakat alırsanız uzmanlık belgesi istendiği için gümrük işlemlerinde yüklü miktarda vergi çıkıyor. Bunu bilerek alın iade süreciyle uğraşmayın.

The parts work properly, fit well, are made to last. The only thing to be aware of is that the coiled wire is quite tight and does not stretch easily. Good for bench top electronics if you're not planning to move away from your workspace, but if you do, the coiled wire will offer enough resistance to pull the alligator clip off whatever you have it clipped to rather than stretch. It would be nice if the coil was more relaxed.Otherwise, this works perfectly. Wear this, and you're grounded.Recommended.

I have not used this yet, but it’s really a pretty simple product, and because of how well made this one is I’m absolutely positive that this one will do what it’s supposed to do!

Some people say you don't "need" it. That may be true but I also don't think it's such a bad idea to be safe rather than sorry especially for such a low cost.I am an avg user who likes to do his own work when needed. I wasn't about to go out and spend $70+ on an anti static mat when I'd likely only need to pull it out once every cpl of years or so. I also know I'm the type of person who gets so caught up into what I'm focusing on that I'd forget to ground myself every so often. For the minimal cost of this thing it was an easy purchase just for the piece of mind.I'm a pretty avg size guy with rather think legs from sports and this was still able to fit my ankle quite comfortably. The cable is long enough to attach to a ground location and still offer plenty of room to move. I can't comment on the durability of it because I've only just got it and only used it in action once. For $10 and how little I plan to actually use it though I can't imagine this will wear out anytime soon. I think it's worth it.
