This is perfect! my 2yr old has a fascination with my controllers... and she has dropped them a couple times... so this case is great as she cannot press any of the buttons and as a result she has pretty much lost interest in the controller, unless of course I'm gaming then she wants to "help" but at least now she doesn't try to snatch them off the charger and take off with them. I like that it opens like a clam shell and the magnetic closure ensures that it stays closed. I have not traveled with this yet but I would imagine that it would just as well at protecting my controller in traveling as it does with my 2yr old.

I ordered this to preserver a special edition controller I purchased and would definitely recommend it too and it seals to protect from dust. The one thing I’ll mention is if you drop it, it will open and the controller will fall out (depending on how it lands).

I replaced a larger hard case that I had for the controller. I found myself not using it as often because it would take up too much room in my bag. This form fit case it perfect and works really well. The clasp is magnetic and its easy to open and close. I absolutely love it and glad I came across it.
