The temp control worked great in the cat house. Set it up with a heating pad and the outdoor cat stays warm

I bought this combo to turn my trailer into a temporary meat locker for a bull we butchered and had to hang to age for 2 weeks.I have several Inkbird products. They work very well. Good value. Plug and play.

I purchased these for two reasons. We have a chicken brooder and the thermometer and heating side keeps the brooder at a constant temperature. The humidistat will be used in my sausages drying chamber as well as the temperature controller

Bought Inkbird temperature/humidity controllers on spec to cure tobacco (requires temperature and humidity control)--lost the crop while drying, irrelevant since never got around to using the devices.Temperature controller used instead to maintain soil temperature in a 16 foot by 4 foot by 4 foot hoop tunnel to over winter artichokes in Zone 6a.InkBird Temperature controller enclosed in a plastic bag resting on soil operating a 1000 watt soil heating cable buried 2"-3" below the surface, and 120V 9 watt LED pilot light on a blue 30 foot extension cord (see photo) via a conventional 6 outlet power strip enclosed in the same plastic bag.Power was supplied to the power strip via a wall mounted 15 Amp GFCI plug protected by a regulation weatherproof enclosure.6 months later still operating flawlessly. 2 layers of quilted tarps were used to cover the tunnel during an unprecedented one night dip to -26C just in case.Stars removed for accuracy simply to warn the user that I haven't had a chance to calibrate it--up to the user--but more or less consistent with independent but unscientific temperature monitoringPhoto shows 2 plastic bags containing (on the left) a Thermoworks Smoke X4 temperature monitor monitoring and broadcasting ambient and soil temperatures inside and outside the hoop tunnel, and (on the right) a bag containing the 2 power junctions (strips) and the Inkbird Temperature controller. The Inkbird temperature probe was inserted into the soil 2" (approx) from the heating cable and programmed to operate at 12 degrees C +/- 2 degrees C.While effort was made to prevent precipitation arising from soil moisture warmed by the cable rising and condensing on the roof of the tunnel, the plastic bags were not sealed.

There are definitely some expensive systems out thereb and they might be worth it as well, but this setup is really well priced and does a great job. I have a small microgreens setup and was struggling to keep the climate optimal until I got this. Now I don't really think about it and it just works. One thing that would be nice would be some connectivity for the alarms. If the temp goes way to high or low, for example, it'd be nice to get a notification. As it is, that rarely happens unless I leave a door open, but it'd be a nice feature. This setup does have configurable alarms that are audible, but mine is away from where I can hear it normally.

I purchased 2 each of each of these (humidity and temp) 14 months ago and all 4 have been in use since then, I have never had any issues with them, they work great. I just bought 1 more of each for my son to use and I recommend the Inkbird to anyone who is setting up a grow room. If these ever give out, I will without hesitation buy them again. They are built WAY better than the light that I paid $600.00 for on here and lasted 4 months. Two thumbs up

Temperature controller is very nice, can keep highs and lows, differentials, etc.Humidity probe is also very nice. Helps keep the indoor garden at a stable temperature and humidity. It will even keep at you until you acknowledge the alarms.Nice product, would recommend for gardens, smoking meats and cheeses, pretty much anything that you need a constant and stable environment.

Very easy to understand while youre going through the instructions, set your desired temp or RH then the high and low points you want it to turn on either heating/cooling or humidifier/dehumidifier and then your alarm settings, again, for both high and lows should your devices not be able to regulate it fast enough. I use these for a 4 × 4 × 6 grow tent and they work AWESOME for keeping everything in check. Has really helped reduce the frequency of me checking on my plants

The absolute best in the business. Be it caring for reptiles, fish and other animals, growing great cannabis, brewing awesome beer, cultivating edible mushrooms and plants or just controlling an environment. These controllers are great little tools to help you dial in your environmental variables with ease, I would highly recommend INKBIRD controllers to anyone looking for this sort of thing. 5 stars all the way, great gear.

I am using this to control an incubator and the only real problem I have is that it minimum temperature drop below the setpoint before the heater turns on is either 1 degree C or 2 degrees F (depending on which temperature scale is being used). As a result, the heater comes on for 5 minutes every half hour and gets so hot before it turns off that the temperature overshoots 2 degrees F for a total temperature swing of over 4 degrees F.It is also annoying that the setpoint temperature only shows integral degrees. The setpoint can be set with a resolution of tenths of a degree but to do it you have to set the setpoint to the nearest integral degree and then set the calibration (which does have a resolution of tenths of degrees) to adjust the effective setpoint.FWIW, the minimum humidity change required to turn the humidifier on is 5% relative humidity.
