It's great when it works but with lousy customer support. the first temperature probe malfunctioned within 2 weeks and the second failed yesterday 2 days before the return window expired. So I am returning for a refund.

I mistakenly assumed Inkbird products were going to be mostly WiFi …not this one! Regret not returning this for what I intended getting and that is the WiFi dual temp sensor (marketed for plants?) but I went ahead and kept this since I couldn’t afford the lead time. Anyhow it works fine and as described, that is, a relay switching on / off your device of choice controlled by for your chosen parameter range be it temp., humidity, etc. I use it for koi pond temps in the hot summer heat which will kill fish. It came with two temp probes and here’s my only gripe: either make the probes heavier or provide clamp-on weights so they don’t almost float. and haven’t read the manual but for measuring r.humidity I’m unsure as to whether special probes are required as an accessory? Since I haven’t cracked the manual yet Thank goodness they finally made a simple, accessible, affordable, WiFi temp sensing meter. Couldn’t find one a year ago when I needed it badly with very few options of decent accurate water temp monitoring other than the old (throw in) pool thermometer.

I have an old chest freezer that the thermostat doesn't work. I use this temperature controller to keep it at the desired temp, it was much cheaper than getting the thermostat replaced. So far it is working very well. We recently had a few power outages ranging from seconds to a couple of hours and it retained it's settings. It also has a compressor delay setting which is good for something like a refrigerator or freezer.

I've never used a device like this before, but decided I needed one to operate/control a secondary heater for my inflatable spa, that only heats the water to a max of 104. 104 is nice, but the max temp typically drops a few degrees once the spa is uncovered and the jets turned on, so I wanted a way to get my "start temp" up a few degrees, and keep it there each time I open up the spa and get into it. The heater I chose is a 1500W submersible model (at 110/120V household current, that's a draw of about 12.5 amps). Saw all the reviews from guys who complained that their Inkbird promptly died under this kind of load, but the device IS "rated" to safely carry a load of up to 15A. I've now used it a little with the spa and secondary heater, and so far, it's working as advertised. If you've never used a device like this, trying to figure out how to program and use it from the instruction manual is hopeless. The manual is like trying to read hieroglyphics. Even a few YouTube videos I found featured guys whose descriptions of how the thing works made it sound like you're operating a nuclear reactor. Once you find the right video (as I did after three tries), you'll finally see that setting this thing up and running it is VERY easy. One probe/input monitors heat, which is controlled from the "Work 1" outlet. The second probe/input monitors cold, which is controlled from the "Work 2" outlet. When the Work 1 outlet is on, the Work 2 outlet is off, and vice versa. You can't program both outlets to work at the same time ... they toggle back/forth, so in my application, I only need/use the "Work 1" outlet.Once the unit is plugged in, and a temperature probe is plugged into the input jack that corresponds to the Work 1 outlet, the unit immediately starts showing the ambient temperature sensed by the probe ... that's the top number on the display. The bottom number is your maximum heat setting, and it's very simple to set. When the temperature of the probe reaches your max setting, the Work 1 outlet is turned off. You can then set any differential you want between your max setting and the point you want the Work 1 outlet (e.g., heater) to come back on. It will then remain on until your target temp is reached again. The Work 2 outlet/probe works the same way, except you're setting it for cooling instead of heating. So, with this one controller, you can control both heating and cooling from one power source, as long as your heating and cooling devices never have to be on at the same time. This thing has other features, but I'll leave discussion of those to people with greater experience/needs than me. Just wanted to say I'm very pleased with the way this thing is working for me so far, no thanks to the instruction manual supplied with the unit. Only time will tell how long that continues.

Too bad it's not wifi, also if you decide to unplug the temperature probes it resets the settings! Be sure to unplug the power first, then you won't lose the settings! Hope this helps! I would have given it 5 stars otherwise!

We are using this dual prong for our snakes - its accurate, so easy to use and was such an unbeatable price. Our breeder and some friends have even went on to purchase for themselves. Highly recommend

I use it to keep 2 beer fermentors heated at precise temps. It works great since you can have a Ale and lager at different temps, all the way down to zero if you wanted. Also has high and low alarms, and spread of when heat should come on. Instructions are a bit daunting at first, but one you use it a few times its easy.

the one that is working is great, but the one that has failed I won't be able to exchange , so instead of ordering 2 more , I will have to find another ink bird supplier, as Amazon's return policy , is horrible, I paid allot of money and to think it was only warrantied for 30 days , too bad Amazon has lost my business , and probably, doesn't care , all I needed was an exchange of faulty product, which would have caused allot more purchases of this product, as many people were interested till they found out Amazon does not stand behind what they sell

High quality product, used to maintain humidity and heat in a 5x5 grow tent. Took a bit to set up but after reading the instructions a few times it was pretty easy. Bought a different brand and it died one day after install which was cheaper, this one was double the price but worth the extra $

Amazing unit. Keeps my fermentation chamber perfectly in the temperature range of 62 to 65 and the same time my keezer between 36 and 39. Very easy to setup and change temperature ranges when needed. It's a great looking unit as well. I actually have it placed where people can see it. Stop shopping other units and buy this one!

Another great product arrived at home yesterday. My brand new Inkbird ITC-608T with dual temperature sensor will be extremely useful to make cold smoking in winter. I will use this device to make sure that the internal temperature of the bbq will not drop down under 0 Celsius degrees. One of the two sensor will be placed in the bbq to catch the internal temperature and with the good setting of the ITC-608T, I will be able to lights on a 75W halogen light to generate a little bit of heat and to make sure that the meat won’t start to freeze during the 12 hours cold smoking process. The ITC-608T will be a great add-on to my IBT-6X smart wireless BBQ thermometer that I use for hot smoking. Thank you Inkbird to make great products for enthusiast BBQ fan like me. I recommend your products !!!
