Its just what it should be; an i712700kf that can hold a steady 5.1ghz or more!I am impressed with this CPU for its price.It beats the I9-10900k BIGTIME which you can see in the included pic. Yes its 2 gen newer, but I havent personally seen an i5 or i7 beat an i9 even 2 generations later.Well worth the money.Dont go for 13 or 14th generations yet, wait until Intel gets their crap together, and takes care of the degredation issues that those generations of chips have.Thank you for your time. Ich habe den Intel Core i7-12700K nun schon seit einigen Monaten in meinem Gaming- und Arbeits-PC im Einsatz und bin rundum zufrieden, dies ist meine zweite CPU. Hier meine Eindrücke im Detail:Leistung & PerformanceDer 12700K bietet mit seinen 12 Kernen (8 Performance- und 4 Effizienz-Kerne) sowie 20 Threads eine beeindruckende Rechenleistung. Ich nutze den Prozessor hauptsächlich für Gaming, Videobearbeitung und gelegentliches Streaming – und er meistert alles mit Leichtigkeit. In aktuellen Spielen wie Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur’s Gate 3 und Call of Duty Warzone erhalte ich durchweg hohe FPS bei gleichzeitig niedriger Auslastung.Auch in Produktivitätsanwendungen wie Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve und Blender läuft alles butterweich. Besonders die Performance-Kerne sorgen für schnelle Renderzeiten, während die Effizienz-Kerne Hintergrundaufgaben problemlos übernehmen.Temperaturen & KühlungIm normalen Betrieb (Office & Browsing) bleibt die Temperatur dank einer guten AIO-Wasserkühlung (Corsair H100i) unter 40°C. Unter Last kann der Prozessor jedoch bis zu 85°C erreichen, was für einen leistungsstarken Chip dieser Klasse normal ist. Eine hochwertige Kühlung ist also empfehlenswert.Übertaktung & EffizienzDank des freien Multiplikators lässt sich der 12700K einfach übertakten. Ich konnte ihn stabil auf 5,1 GHz auf den P-Cores betreiben, allerdings stieg dabei die Leistungsaufnahme spürbar an. Wer auf eine effiziente Nutzung Wert legt, kann mit undervolting ebenfalls gute Ergebnisse erzielen und die Temperaturen senken.Kompatibilität & StromverbrauchIch betreibe den Prozessor auf einem ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F mit DDR5-6000 RAM und hatte keinerlei Kompatibilitätsprobleme. I purchased this processor for my new PC build and let me tell you, it was a good decision.There is no reason to purchase the newest and latest processor out there for ~$500-$600 right now. There are processors that go on sale for $100-$200 all the time, just like this one.There is absolutely no lag when performing my day-to-day tasks.I paired this processor with a Gigabyte 3gb 1060 GPU and I am in love with the performance.I'm able to run Fortnite, Minecraft, Hogwarts, Stardew Valley, and any other game just fine.Browsing the web and writing code is a breeze.This has got to be the best bang for your buck right now.

Had to rewrite my review after trials and errors it would seem 2 motherboards weren't digesting this i7. Was weird, but anyhoo after buying a 3rd motherboard, this time Asus, had 0 issues!So in conclusion, Solid purchase!Thanks!

Ok, Perhaps not as efficient as the 13th or 14th generation. But, these 12ths are hidden gems with an unbeatable performance/price ratio. In prime, thermals are perfectly controlled ;)
