Precautions:
1. The peak power of the module of this product is 4000W. The maximum power of the resistive load connected to the power connector shall not exceed 2000W, the maximum power of the inductive load shall not exceed 500W, and the maximum power of the capacitive load shall not exceed 300W, otherwise the product may be damaged.
2. For fans with power above 550W, the speed should be adjusted at least half the speed. For electrical appliances with power above 1000W, turn the knob to 0 when not in use to avoid excessive instantaneous starting current and damaging the regulator the next time you start it.
3. Smart appliances containing electronic components such as circuit boards cannot be used (such as household water pumps, induction cookers, rice cookers, and ordinary LED energy-saving lamps). Only most fans and brushed power tools can be adjusted, other motors alone cannot be adjusted. If the motor already has gears or the motor has high and low speed cables, then a buzzing AC frequency sound will appear or there will be no speed regulation effect if the regulator is connected.

This is a handy controller for changing the speed of a motor, or dimming a heat lamp or controlling a heater.I tried it on a few things, and it worked great.Inside is a BTA41-800BW two-way thyristor TRIAC, which is switching on/off at a variable point of the AC sine wave to "regulate the voltage", so for sure do not use this on anything with a switching power supply. It won't work.The voltage displayed seems to be an approximation, but that's ok. It still tells you what's going on.I like that it displays something to begin with. Most devices like this don't.
