I looked all over for a replacement latch for my 2020 Silverado with the GM trifold hard tonneau cover. While this is not a bolt in part, the center plastic part is a perfect replacement. I drilled out the rivets, and harvested the plastic wedge core part. I then did the same with the OEM part and replaced the broken center piece. Two small screws and nylock nuts later, it was installed and back to normal.

This was the closest thing I can find to being the same type of latch as on my 2019 GMC Sierra tonneau cover. I had to rebend the metal pull but it works!

I installed this on a chevy tonneau cover for a 2019 silverado 1500 standard bed (6.5ft). I purchased this because for whatever reason these latches are few and far between to get an exact match. It is not quite the same size nor quite the same style but it's pretty close so I tried it. I took apart my latch and compared it and it is close but not exact. Anywho, I had to cut the wire for the opening mechanism and instead of a poprivet I used stainless wire with aluminum crimps to reattach the wire to this latch. It took a little fiddling but it works. Now that I have it installed, it works perfect and you can only tell the difference in the two latches based on the color of the plastic part. I didn't need anything additional other than some wire and crimps to install this. You're not going to be able to plug and play anything I don't think because you can't take the latch, itself, apart. Took me about 30 minutes to disassemble my tonneau cover and reinstall this latch. Would have been faster had I not crimped the wire too long the first try. I'd definitely buy this again if another one breaks.
