I bought this product for my university project.It is very useful product and with this I can have all rotations which I wanted. It is so strong so I believe that just for hanging speakers it would be perfect cause I did more than this and it is still useful.

No doubt this is a good quality product, would have given it a 5-star but not including the mounting screws (i.e. into dry wall) is a total disappointment. I paid extra to get the next-day shipment as I planned to install it upon receipt!!!!

Bought to mount rear Logitech PC surround speakers and they do the job wonderfully, being on a ball and able to move is a must in my situation, been bumped multiple times and haven't ripped out of the wall, holds speakers in place, easy to fine tune each ones direction, solidly built and easy to install. Wish they were more flush to the wall, but still some of the smallest ball mount holders I've used.

I have my Polk S10 speakers attached to this (they're 6 pounds.) This product is basically a clamp with a rubber like ball in it. The clamp has little teeth and when you clamp down, it holds the ball in place. The clamp is solid metal, the screw is also. It's solid but setting it up isn't too easy, you tighten the ball by turning an Allen key (supplied) but because the ball is smooth and the speaker is heavy, you have to tighten it pretty hard so that the clamp's little teeth can hold the ball securely if your speakers weighs as much as mine. I had to use a vice grip to turn the Allen key because I couldn't tighten it with my bare hand alone, the weight of the speaker kept making it tilt down. It is awkward to tighten and position it at the same time but once done it's pretty good and not flimsy at all.
