I was extraordinarily wary about this little doodad.The reviews aren't the greatest.....however, this was precisely the tool I needed for my truck, so I pulled the trigger and installed it.Works a charm. Absolutely brilliant device. When I saw how well it worked, I bought three more for my other vehicles.I no longer use a tender charger to keep the batteries topped up when I don't use the vehicles all the time. I just turn the battery off and Bob is the brother of my mother.To sum up:I highly, highly recommend this battery turner offer thingie. Buy it.

I recently installed this remote battery disconnect switch on an auxiliary battery in my truck to manage power for my winch and other extras. It's a big improvement for handling multiple circuits off one battery without the hassle of wiring up a bunch of relays. The remote control feature is awesome—I can activate the power only when needed, which really simplifies things.One of the best parts is the built-in LED voltage display and auto-shutoff at low voltage, which protects the battery. If the voltage drops below 11.8V, it automatically cuts power after 120 seconds, which is a nice safety net to avoid drainage. Installation was straightforward, and I found the magnetic principle for disconnecting stable and effective.Overall, it’s been working great for my setup, letting me control the extra battery power as needed without constantly switching things manually. Perfect for anyone running a secondary battery setup in their vehicle!

This works as advertised, and appears to be well put together, including the remotes, however I would not recommend this kill switch as a primary kill switch / security device for a vehicle. The listing shows a 120A rating limit in the title, and 240A in the listing and product pictures. Even if it was rated on the higher end, I find that the positive battery connection is too thin in my opinion - it looks like 10/12 gauge, and running constant power through that thin of a cable will give you issues, including overheating. I find this kill switch is okay to use for an ATV / UTV or auxiliary electronics, but not for the main vehicle's electrical system.
