It will probably work if both computer are using DP and HDMI. In my case one computer has VGA, DVI & HDMI, only HDMI would work, probably I'll need to upgrade the Video Card to only DP and HDMI.

I'm using this for a simple set up. I run my business from my home, so one space is both for work and for my personal use. This allows me to switch easily between PC and laptop with no problems. No glitches. No weird disconnects. No lag or waiting time.

This compact KVM switch simplifies juggling two computers with three monitors, perfect for my work-from-home setup. It easily connects two HDMI and one DisplayPort, offering clear video at 4K. The Ethernet port keeps everything connected, and the USB 3.0 ports are handy for my mouse and keyboard. While setup was straightforward, the included USB cables are a bit short. Also, there's a slight delay when switching devices, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, this switch has made managing my workspace much easier.

This was my first KVM switch, and while it was daunting to set up, it comes with everything necessary to switch between your different setups seamlessly. The KVM SwitchEthernet Ports: The KVM includes Ethernet ports rated at a maximum speed of 1.0GB/s, which is sufficient for my purposes. However, some users might prefer 2.5GB/s ports.USB Ports: It has 3 USB 3.0 ports: two in the back (for mouse and keyboard) allowing for easier cable management if it sits atop a desk, and one on the front side. The front port is great for peripherals like a webcam that is needed between setups. In my case, I didn’t need to use it, but it's a nice touch.Audio Ports: There are Audio-in and Microphone-in ports for headphones, earbuds, and a microphone. This is a neat feature if you have a single set of speakers and a microphone. My only issue is that this feature wasn't useful for my purposes. I wish there was an extra USB 3.0 port so I could use my wireless headset. If you plan on using more than 3 USB 3.0 ports, I suggest looking for a different KVM switch.Wired Remote: The wired remote that comes with the KVM switch adds to the seamless experience. I have the remote taped under my desk, which allows me to easily switch between setups in just a few seconds without reaching far for the switch.Performance of the KVM SwitchSwitching: While it manages to switch seamlessly, there is a bit of a time gap during the switching process. It’s a few seconds and may not be noticeable to some users (this could be due to the monitors). Nevertheless, it beats switching my DP and HDMI cables from my laptop to my computer.Overall, the KVM switch adds convenience. One piece of advice would be to be prepared to manage cables, as there will be a lot more cables around, this was my first KVM switch and it required extra cable management.-

As someone who has been working from home most of the time for a few years now, I've tried different ways to accommodate having a work laptop and my personal computer on my desk and using the same components and devices for both, but I've always felt a little limited by what I was using, may it be switches or complex setups. This switch is pretty small, which is great as it was easy to find a place for it on my desk. You do need to carefully plan what will be plugged in where first though. For example, I have two computers and two monitors, which means ion my case 6 HDMI cables, plus the USB cables/dongles for my mouse, keyboard, webcam, etc. There also are Ethernet plugs, which is super convenient, especially as they always stay connected, even when you switch from one computer to another. Once you've figured out what you want to plug where, it's just as easy as that, you just need to plug everything and it'll work instantly. You then only need to press the button for the device you want to work with, and everything will switch over effortlessly. You can even plug in audio devices if you need to use a microphone and/or earphones on the computers you've plugged into the switch.I did appreciate that two of the USB 3.0 Out plugs are at the back of the device, as I don't really ever need to actively plug one thing in it, so the USB cables will stay hidden at the back. Other than that, I did not need the remote switch as the KVM switch itself is about two feet from where I sit, but its nice that it was included for different setups than mine. I also do not have a third monitor yet, but the option to add a third one to the KVM really makes it a lot more future-proof. The combination of two HDMI and one DisplayPort outputs also gives more latitude as to how you can setup the whole thing. The only negative point I can find is that the included USB-A to USB-B cables are rather short, which is a little disappointing for a device you're using to connect different computers, which probably mean there's a strong possibility they're further away than about three feet from the switch. At least it's possible to use USB extensions without hindering performances. So all in all, a great KVM switch that pretty much anyone can use without much trouble, and which will save you a few headaches if you're trying to use two computers alternately.

This compact and sturdy KVM switch, housed in a metal body, offers both durability and efficient heat dissipation. It can switch three monitors and various computer peripherals, including a sound system, between two computers. The switch supports two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort for the three monitors. Switching between computers can be easily performed using either the push button on the switch or the included wired remote, with the process taking just 5-8 seconds.A standout feature of this KVM switch is the built-in Ethernet switch, which I haven't encountered in other KVM switches.Overall, the device delivers good performance, and I find it a valuable tool for sharing KVM resources between two computers.

I received the "KVM Switch 3 Monitors 2 Computers 8K@60Hz 4K@144Hz, 2 HDMI + DisplayPort USB3.0 KVM Switch Triple Monitor for 2 Computer Share 1000Mbps Ethernet, 3 USB 3.0 Ports, Audio&Microphone, Wired Remote"This device is almost like a switchable hub... almost imho. Ethernet, hdmi, USB connections work as intended when switched. I only switched 1080p and 4k, not 8k. Audio switches as well. Ethernet acts like a switch so packets are not managed from what I could tell. It's a bit pricey, but for what it does, deliver 3 monitor output from either computer, I'd almost say the price is not unreasonable. I didn't experience any glitches or blackouts on the hdmi side, nor loss of data on the usb ports.I caution anyone using one of these to hook up everything while all components are turned off, then plug in this switch, followed by monitors and computers. I've seen too many ports blown on monitors and even some laptops trying to "hot-swap".

I recently started using a KVM switch, and it’s been a great addition to my workspace. This device allows me to control multiple computers with a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor, which has streamlined my setup significantly.
