Installation Guide Tips (incorrect connection will cause malfunction):
Each computer must connection 2 HDMI cables and 1 USB A / A cable to ensure keyboard, mouse and monitor to work correctly.
Connection steps:
- Connect 2*HDMI cables+1*USB-A cable between computer 1 and KVM (USB 3.0, INPUT A1, INPUT B1).
- Connect 2*HDMI cables+1*USB-A cable between computer 2 and KVM (USB 3.0, INPUT A2, INPUT B2).
- Connect 2*HDMI cables between the KVM (OUT A, OUT B) and the monitor 1 and monitor 2
***Notice***
- After connecting the computers and the monitors through KVM, you need to set the screen output mode on the computer (press Windows+P) and select the output mode in the pop-up window on the screen. Otherwise, only one of the two connected monitor.

Waited a few months after using to do a proper review. Works exactly how I want it to, able to use one keyboard and mouse and with the push of a button flips the interface between two different machines without having to constantly swap cables to the monitors, would buy again for another work station

I just got this kvm model to switch between a Macbook Pro M1 and a PC with two 4k monitors. Everything work fine except when I switch from the pc to the mac. One of the screen (An LG 32UK550_580/UL500) is showing just noise. If I turn the kvm switch off and on, it is working fine. This is annoying!.I will have to return this product. (No it is not the cable. I tried switching all the cables with always the same result.)

For the first 3 months, everything worked as expected. After 3 months the monitors would occasionally not be recognized and I would not have a desktop on one or both monitors. This was occasional enough that I continued to use the KVM. After 6 months, the USB is failing to register with the connected computers. In some cases just one side, in some cases both. In all cases above, if I move the connection directly to the computer, it works fine. So at the moment, I'm moving the wireless keyboard dongle from the KVM to the computer for one device. That pretty much defeats the purpose of a KVM.I WOULD NOT buy again.

Keyboard is wonky - some key strokes are delayed or not at all. Tried different cables and keyboards. Keyboard works when connected directly to laptop instead of KVM. Unfortunate because there aren’t many with USB 3. Going to return.

Works perfectly when everything is connected, BUT, as soon as you disconnect a device, the whole thing fails and I'm still trying to nail down the process to make it work. I find myself disconnecting my laptop for a number of reasons, but it just messes up the switch then, so I have to turn on/off devices, unplug/plug cables, it's a mess to make it work again. SO, if you don't disconnect anything it works beautifully, but if you unplug something....it's such a hassle to make it work again.

The kvm seems to work well for all usb ports but I get problems with the monitor switching. It does not properly transmit the edid monitor information which locks me at using 720p or 1080p resolutions. The monitor also appears slightly blurry compared to if it is plugged in directly. Quite disappointed with it

UPDATE: I wrote the review below and was contacted by the company's customer service via Amazon messages. We discussed the situation and they sent a replacement switch. Excellent customer service! Its working great, if it stops working in the future, I will update this review again. But I hope there will be no issues with this new one.This was a great product until a few days ago. I've used it daily for 7 months with no issues until the day before yesterday. Now an error continuously pops up saying the "USB device is not recognized" on the system that is not in use. WASTE OF MONEY

It works most of the time, but will randomly drop a screen without warning. Sometimes it is only for a few seconds, other times you have to cycle the switch off and back on to get the dropped screen to come back. BUT, if I switch to my other computer, both screens are usually working. It’s weird, this is not a unit I would buy again.Update: After this review I was contacted by the vendor, and they offered a full refund on the product, which I gladly accepted. The unit is still functioning, and still glitchy, as mentioned in my original review, and I am still looking for a decent KVM switch, under $200, that will last more than a few months.

Fait le travail jusqu'à présent. Vient avec 2 cables HDMI de 3 pieds et 2 cable USB de 3 pieds. La construction semble solide et après quelques jours, le commutateur arrive à garder connectés mon clavier, ma souris, mes écouteurs et ma webcam lors des changements d'un PC à l'autre sans problème.Quelques commentaires:- Les cables USB sont usb-a vers usb-a, alors qu'il est plus usuel d'avoir des usb-a vers usb-b. Comme le cable fourni était trop court pour rejoindre l'un de mes ordinateurs, j'ai dû en acheter un de 10 pieds sur Amazon.- Le commutateur vient avec une alimentation par prise usb-A et il n'y a pas d'adaptateur fourni.- J'ai lu que certains trouvaient que le bouton pour actionner le changement d'ordinateur à distance était trop petit. L'interrupteur a la diamètre d'un crayon mais je l'actionne sans problème. Ce n'est pas un show-stopper à mes yeux.- Il y a un délai de 2-3 secondes pour passer d'un ordinateur à l'autre, ce qui est plus long que mon ancienne switch DVI.- Le commutateur remplace un commutateur Startech qui avait beaucoup de problème de fiabilité et qui nécessitait de fréquemment débrancher les périphériques USB et les rebrancher pour qu'ils soient reconnus. Bye-bye Startech.
