Only had to use the OEM choke lever.Had to slightly modify one gasket, very easy. Also needed a bit longer gas line. This was replacing a carb on a old garden tiller. The engine ran great with new carb!

Replaced gummed up carburetor on chipper/shredder. Easy to install and price was good. Much easier than trying to clean old carburetor.

Carburetor looked really official. However, it did not fit model 698475. The choke mechanism was completely in the way of the air filter housing. I was able to modify. Bigger problem occurred once the gas tank was filled half full. The carburetor float wasn't able to stop gas from flowing into the carburetor bowl. The problem was that when they copied the Briggs, they failed to include a rubber grommet to seal off gas flow. Flooded the air filter and cylinder with gas. Threw it in the trash and bought one built in USA.

I used this carb on my 6.5 hp craftsman roto tiller. I already knew what was wrong with the carb on it--it just needed a needle valve seat--just the seat alone since the swell up sometimes. I looked at buying just the needle and seat. It was about $7 with prime shipping for a package of several. This carb wasn't much more so I just bought it. The levers that came with it did not fit my application so I too had to use my own choke lever. After installation and letting the bowl fill up for a minute, motor started on 2nd pull.
