This thing is great. I bought it for my mom for Christmas. She does a lot of work from her bed (we live in a small apartment, there's no room for a desk). She's always so uncomfortable with her laptop and her tablet flat on the bed. i saw this and another laptop tray. I chose this one and I'm glad I did. On the bottom are to soft pillow like pieces (the back higher than the front so the tray tilts toward you) . You can put it on your lap or sit it next to you. I was afraid it would be awkward or shaky, but no. Very sturdy. The laptop or tablet stay in place because of the material underneath. There is also a small bar in the front to prevent the laptop from sliding off. There's a space for your mouse and a spot to put your phone for convenience (you can see in the picture). It's not cheaply made. I was very surprised with the quality, I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. I highly recommend for laptop users. It's something I didn't know we needed until I got it. My mom loves it.

I love the mousepad on this, it is very easy to be on the laptop while sitting on the couch. Fits the laptop perfectly. I like that it has a handle so I can carry it with me if I needed to.

The positive is this is a really nice product. The device ledge works like a charm to keep your laptop from sliding. The device ledge is a good size where you won't have issues opening your laptop and it's rounded so you won't get dinged by sharp corners. The under padding feels very comfortable and the space in between lets you grip the desk by the sides nicely when you have to move it. The phone holder can hold an iPhone Pro Max with a case securely.Unfortunately the mousepad is a negative. If the desk is at any slight angle the mouse will slide. This makes it tedious to try and get work done. Not only is it distracting to have the mouse cursor be moving, but it affects usage. For example, you start typing in your browser URL bar and it suggests a result if you try and hit Enter odds are your mouse moved and it selected a different option. In order for this not to be a problem you need the desk to be perfectly perpendicular.

Definitely worth the money! I work and use this daily. The quality is so incredible! The extra size, the built in mouse pad, the little ledge that hold your laptop in place.. I cannot say enough about how much those small things make such a big difference / convenience!! I debated spending the money.. I am soooo glad I did!! It is soooo worth it!! One of the best purchases I’ve ever made!!

Unfortunately, my Surface Pro 9 does not fit. The rear kickstand falls of the rear. It would be ideal for a traditional laptop.
