This is a really well-made landing mat. It includes pegs to secure it to the ground, and the material is strong, thick and durable. I was concerned that it may be thin and easily torn but it's rigid aside from the partitions for folding and looks like it would easily withstand being placed on rough terrain. There is even a yellow side and a red side for optimal visibility on the current terrain, and it came with a carrying case to boot!Tested with my Mini 3 drone.

I've been intending to pick up a landing pad for a while now, but just finally got around to it. This pad is not only foldable so it fits in the case I have for my DJI Phantom 4 Pro, but it's also sturdy, unlike some of the landing pads I've seen. Instead of just flimsy fabric, it is a stiff plastic that is foldable. It comes with stakes to hold it down, though you do need to be careful in harder soil, as they don't feel all that strong - they do have some flex to them.Works well, and I'm happy with it.

I got this to replace a similar landing pad I already had. The red/yellow combination on this is preferred, IMO to the one I already had that has a orange/blue combination. The best color is the one that creates the most contrast to see for landing. I never saw myself using the blue side of the previous one I had. Now I can sell my drone kit and have a better landing pad to keep in this new red/yellow one. This pad comes with a nice bag and ground stakes. Let me tell you that those stakes are a necessity as the drone can cause the pad to lift while trying to land on it. I rarely use any pad and prefer the elevated height I get from my optional drone landing gear. But it is good to have and fits nice (in the provided bag) in the back pocket on my drone backpack. The price of 24 USD is very reasonable as many pads are more. I would order this again.

This is a well made landing pad. I was pleasantly surprised that ot had a bit of heft to it considering it's size and how thin it is. It even comes with pegs to hold it down on gusty days. This is a great landing pad for your drone, especially for the price point.

I like to have a landing pad for certain launches (grass, sand, mulch) and this pad works well. It is foldable but has rigid panels inside that provide a sturdy surface that isn't going to get caught in prop wash. It's got a plastic kind of coating so should be washable if you ever need to use it on muddy surfaces. The two colors are a nice touch so you can make sure the landing is visible on whatever surface your placing the pad on. It comes with four stakes and a bag to keep it all together. I keep it in the trunk of my car so it's always handy.

I live in an area where I fly from gravel or dirt most of the time and using a landing pad is pretty much necessary. This style of folding landing pad is well suited to this area and I've used a similar landing pad, the STARTRC Drone Landing Pad Pro, back when I had a DJI Mini 2 drone. This landing pad is slight larger and more flexible than the STARTRC pad, and it has grommets in the four corners like the STARTRC as well. It also came with a set of plastic stakes for holding it down. The material covering the pads is of a similar quality to the STARTRC pad and with a little care I suspect this landing pad will hold up as well as over the years.I like that it comes with a drawstring bag for the folded-up landing pad as I like to keep it in the case with my DJI Air 3, but don't want a dusty landing pad munging up the rest of the drone accessories such as ND filters and my night flying strobe. It also makes it easy to grab and go with my Avata 2 as well, though its case is too small the fit a landing pad...

A landing pad for your drone is a handy accessory that should be a part of most people’s kits. This landing pad is a perfect size for most sub-250g drones. Those with larger drones may want to look at a slightly bigger option instead. The pad is well made with 6 rigid panels that unfold into a larger square surface. The exterior material is durable and waterproof, so it’s easy to clean. It is reversible with a red side and yellow side and has a reinforced hole in each corner. Also included is a bright orange drawstring bag and 4 stakes to secure it to the ground through the corner holes of the pad so it won’t blow away. I personally don’t usually use stakes since if the wind is bad enough to blow away the launch pad, I probably shouldn’t be flying in that weather to start with. I haven’t had any issues with it staying put, and the wind from the propellers hasn’t caused any issues.A landing pad provides several benefits. It is a visible target for you to try and practice and improve your landing skills with.More importantly, it provides a more flat and clean surface to take off and land from. If you’re operating from dusty/sandy ground, an unstable/rougher surface, grass, etc., a landing pad helps a lot so that it isn’t kicking up dust into the motors, grass isn’t hitting the propellers, etc. Also, if you have a drone with a precision landing feature such as the Mini 4 Pro, the landing pad can help with the accuracy as it provides the drone with a unique and high-contrast surface to scan when it launches and then match up with when you land it with return-to-home.As for nitpicks about the pad, there isn’t anything too significant. I have used similar launch pads, and this one is slightly thinner, lighter, and less rigid than some others. It’s not a huge difference and doesn’t affect its use too much, but it is a little noticeable in comparison. Also, the current selling price of this pad is on the pricier side, and more in line with larger size launch pads, so in terms of value, I think there are some better options.

If you're flying anything from a DJI Mini to a larger FPV setup, this Lekufee foldable landing pad is one of those accessories that just makes sense. It protects your drone, simplifies landings, and adds a touch of professionalism to every flight. I’ve tested it with both micro drones and my DJI setups, and I’m pleasantly surprised by how well thought-out this pad is.First Impressions & PortabilityThe product arrives neatly packed in a flat white box (see photos), with a vivid orange drawstring bag inside that’s hard to miss — and that’s a good thing. The bag not only makes transport easy but also helps protect the landing pad itself from scuffing and wear during storage. It fits comfortably in a drone backpack or even a camera case. When unfolded, the pad lays flat with no curling or warping at the edges. That’s a big plus, especially if you’ve dealt with flimsy fabric or spring-loaded pads that never quite flatten out properly.Build Quality & MaterialsThis thing is solid — it’s made from what feels like high-quality PU leather layered over reinforced PVC. The surface is smooth to the touch, doesn’t hold creases too visibly, and crucially, doesn’t have that awful plastic smell you get from cheap PVC products. It’s clearly a safer, non-toxic choice, which is especially important if you’re flying around pets or kids.Despite its stiffness and weight, the pad folds up easily, as long as you follow the proper sequence: fold in half first, then into thirds. Trying to force it in another way could stretch or crease the material in ways that might shorten its life.Design Features & Real-World UseThe dual-color scheme — red on one side, yellow on the other — is a nice touch. While not extremely bright, the contrast is strong enough for DJI’s auto-landing features like Visual Positioning and Flip to clearly recognize the pad, even in moderate lighting. Each corner features a metal-reinforced eyelet, and the package includes four red plastic stakes. While the stakes aren’t really meant for high winds (the pad is heavy enough to stay down in normal conditions), they do a great job of anchoring it over uneven surfaces like tall grass or loose gravel. In use, the pad offers a nice, defined target for takeoffs and landings. It helps avoid debris from spinning up around the drone, and it prevents scratches or dust buildup on gimbals and sensors — particularly useful when flying from sand, snow, or forest floors.Minor ConsiderationsIt’s a tight fit for larger drones. While it works fine for the DJI Mini and Avata class drones, I’d hesitate to rely on it for big manual landings with a DJI Inspire or anything similarly sized — especially in windy or unsteady conditions. As mentioned, follow the folding pattern carefully. It’s not fragile, but rough handling could lead to cracks or delamination at the folds over time.Final ThoughtsThis isn’t a flashy accessory, but it’s an extremely functional, durable, and well-designed piece of gear. It provides excellent protection for your drone while giving you a flat, reliable surface for takeoffs and landings — something that becomes even more valuable the more you fly.Between the smart storage bag, quality materials, and thoughtful design, the Lekufee landing pad feels like a tool designed by drone users for drone users. Check the photos for a look at the pad in use — including my own DJI Flip drone for scale.
