One day into using it, so far so good. It was a rough start because I hadn't plugged the USB C cable in, which is the hub's power supply, and should be plugged into a different host—optimally a USB 1 port. I'm still trying to figure out why there are two USB A to USB C adapters in the package, plus a USB A to USB C cable.One more note on the USB C connection: It must be plugged into the system that will stay on, or into an independent wall wart.I sure am glad I had a wireless keyboard and mouse stashed away.

I just bought a mac, and this allows me to easily switch my peripherals between that mac and my PC. I can complete multiple tasks such as video editing/rendering, gaming, and many other things. Got a great deal and no regrets! I like how it even comes with two usb C to A adapters at such a low price!

Works well to share a mouse and keyboard between two computers. I have both a desktop and laptop at my desk, and with this I just press a button and switch the mouse and keyboard between them. The reconnect is pretty fast after switching, with the PC grabbing control immediately, but the Mac laptop delays about 3-4 seconds in grabbing control of the mouse.Unit is very lightweight plastic, which for me is a drawback because it tends to slide around on the desk or get pulled to back by the cables connected to it. Some rubber feet would help. I dropped the rating one star because it slides around too easily.NO instructions or info at all, but if you get a magnifying glass to read the dark gray-on-black labels, you should be OK.
