For $25-35, the Lepy LP-2020A is a low cost and fanless amplifier. I purchased 2 of them over the past year, each powering a pair of 8 ohm speakers connected to TV and computer. Works well driving a pair of 4 ohm Klipsch ProMedia speakers as well. Due to its fanless design, it runs fairly cool and is virtually silent. It's a basic 2Ch amplifier with analog RCA / 3.5mm input and clean static free output.Power consumption: 0.7W (off); 2W (on)Power supply (included): 12V 3AWhile I did find it odd to have a physical on/off switch and still consume 0.7W in "off" position, it's no worse than a regular home theatre receiver consuming 0.5-2W at stand-by.Tip: add 4 rubber feet to the bottom so it doesn't slide around on a smooth surface.

First the power cord was faulty and now the amp stopped working after a month. Not worth the $$ .

Works great out of the box. Sound is great, especially for desktop speakers out of the computer. Such a cheap solution for every home - just plug them into some old speakers and presto. Power supply is a nice feature. One less star - not as good sounding as my original Lepy from 2-3 years ago. It seems to need the tone controls engaged to get any bass. I never had to do that before. And this one does not have a remote.Oh well, you get what you pay for these days. Nonetheless, I still recommend you try one of these guys. You'll be happy. And for the price, if it lasts more than a year or so, you cannot complain.

So far I am blown away by how much sound this little amplifier puts out, especially for the price. I don’t consider myself an audiophile, but to my amateur ears the highs sound very crisp and the lows are top shelf. I am not expecting the moon here but as far as I am concerned this is an excellent unit to drive a couple quality 4 ohm satellite speakers at a computer desk. Below are the specs of speakers I am driving with the unit.Driving:2 Canton Plus-S 40 watt, 4 ohm passive satellites1 Canton Plus-C 12” 70 watt passive subwoofer.Pros:☺ Great punch, both the treble and the bass sound great☺ Aesthetics☺ Compact☺ The blue light is a nice touch (A little brighter than it needs to be however)☺ Price (at the time I purchased)Cons:None that I have noticed so far.Overall: There is great value to be had here for such a handy little amplifier. Makes a great driver for a set of speakers at a computer station.Thank you very much for the 'Yes' helpful vote, and please feel free to comment or ask questions related to this product or other items I have reviewed on Amazon.

Small, clear sound, works exactly as advertised. (Class-T is basically a marketing thing - it is a particular chip used - Tripath, they compete with and are otherwise a class-D amp which is what is mentioned in the manual that comes with it)It does clip at high volumes and will also cut sound until you turn the volume down to prevent overload/damage to the speakers, but I had to turn it up louder than was comfortable to listen to in a standard room. the 20 watts per channel with a reasonable speaker was more than loud enough for typical listening. (likely not enough for large rooms, outdoors or for parties)I've used it with the 3.5mm (headphone jack to headphone jack cable to a phone) and the RCA audio input - both were good.I have it currently setup with an Airport Express in my garage - could also be setup with Chromecast Audio or similar device. to allow easy/cheap network audio streaming. There are also some bluetooth to audio adapters I've seen that could also be used with it for someone not wanting/doing a network setup. The treble/bass controls and a button to allow bypass on them is nice - can help compensate a little for lower quality speakers.

December 1, 2019. Here we are again. I recently opened the box containing my third one of these to hook up to another computer. One channel was operating intermittently. When I investigated my wire terminations in the back of the amplifier the spring terminal parts fell out. I could not put it back together and for now just have the wire jammed in the hole. I will jury rig a terminal when I recover from a medical procedure that I recently went through. As seems to be the case with many Chinese electronics components, they can make very good sounding equipment but quality control is abysmal.I recently bought three of these amplifiers on the strength of my success with the one I bought a couple of years ago. The one that I reviewed back then is still working great on my computer. One of the new ones, however, failed after just one month of operation, driving bookshelf speakers in my wife's work out room at very modest sound levels. Just as happened to another reviewer, it went to full volume and the volume knob no longer made a difference. I have not yet tried the other two of the three I purchased, they are still in their original boxes, unopened. I checked to see if I could return the defective unit but I am 4 days late to do that. I could not find a way to contact the original seller and I don't see that there is a warranty outside of the one month return period. I may have to eat the cost of this one but I hope I don't have to eat the other two as well.Review of the original purchased one follows.I have excellent audio equipment at home and this amplifier is not part of that. For the price, however, I am pleased. It has replaced an ailing computer amplifier and it sounds better than that. I have connected an old pair of Tannoy bookshelf speakers to it and it has more than enough power to drive them to beyond comfortable listening levels. The Bass Treble and volume control operate without static and actually feel quite good in the hand. Some reviewers indicated that the controls felt cheap, maybe that is one of the upgrades in this version. My wife is eyeing it up for some of her school presentations. It is very light in weight and runs completely cool.
