I take pictures of my products myself before listing them on my stores, and these were a game changer for me. The extra lighting they provide, in a non-harsh diffused manner, really upped the quality of my pictures. I love that they came with a little bracket that really just pops on one of my extra stands easily. If you don't have a stand, but have an extra person, they're easy to just hold as well.

The 43 inch Light Reflector Kit by TENBEST was a GAME CHANGER for me this past weekend!This was the first time I ever used a light reflector and it saved me not only from having to change location but it saved me additional time by not having to use my c-stand and giant lantern and COB light.The gold reflector option did the trick for me so I could stay in my home office and get the phots I needed for a website.The adaptors to attach the reflector to the tripod was FANTASTIC! Others leave this out and require you to have another person there or buy the adaptors separately.One recomendation: watch a video before you try to fold it back up! It's not intuitive and if you don't do it the right way you could damage your equipment.I'd definatly recomend this to anyone considering getting a reflector... FYI You will want a tripod to use with this... I had several so it made this process so much easier!!

Harsh shadows in the sun – or in the ordinary evening room lighting – can ruin the picture; many times I have joggled a sheet of tracing paper trying to diffuse and soften the light, and these sheets are rather unwieldy…The kit here solves that unwieldiness – the frame holds whichever surface you choose in a firm circle 110 cm in diameter, so you can position it using only one hand; better yet, using the bracket and cold shoe mount you can affix the circle to a tripod, and use both your hands for further creativity.Speaking of the frame – there is warning that the reflector opens quickly and it should be held away from your face; take that warning seriously. I did expect it to pop up quickly – all similarly packed frames do – but I did not realize how big it was on the first opening. That said, similar frames that need to be twisted to be packed can be hard to coerce into their pouches – this one is a good one, not once I needed to let it reopen and start again.You can use one of five surfaces. The frame itself contains transparent diffuser (grown-up version of my tracing paper sheet), and then there is a cover that goes on top of it – one side is black and gold, the other is white and silver. You make sure the reflective surface you want is on the outer side and fit the frame in.The pictures show the object in full sun, the light diffused with the transparent sheet and the shadows broken up a bit with the silver reflector.Good selection, neatly packed, with appropriate hardware. Recommended!

It even includes a heavy duty light stand attachment bracket. That really feels premium at this price point.Types of reflector:1 Semi transparent light defuser. This acts like a portable soft box. Without the means of light spill suppression.2 white bounce light: Offering the most defuse and natural light for fills and shadow suppression.3 silver reflector: Offering a longer range ( photons ) with a harsher reflection centre.4 gold reflector: Offering a longer range with a lovely golden hue. Perfect for adding warmth and vitality to a subject.5 black absorption: Offering negative fill ( effectively reducing light bounce ) offering a more dramatic look.The bracket:This kit offers a fully metallic light bracket. That would cost you 35$ just on it's own. It offers all the functionality one would expect. It also comes with a clamp bracket that works seamlessly with the light diffusion ring. Allowing you place the unit anywhere you see fit. Provided you have an extra stand lying around.The caveats:1 This light reflector kit, is one of those pop out styles. Witch offers great portability but comes at the cost of patience. It took me 40 tries to get the darn thing back into it's bag. There are many little nuances and tricks you need to perform in order to get it back into shape. Miss one step or fold it incorrectly and you need to start over.2 Each reflector is plagued with wrinkles that are always visible. When using the silver or gold reflector they can be a pain to mitigate in the shot. As you can see from the picture above there is a slight wavy pattern to the light bounce. It also can cast multi shadows when using small source lights such as the one shown.Final thoughts: 4.3 out of 5A good deal for the price. Offering the end user 90% of what they need from a reflector kit. With it's full metallic bracket plus it's 43 inch footprint. I would suggest strongly purchasing this product. If you are in the market for an easy to use less expensive alternative. This is the one for you!!!

I have used this kind of "Flex-Fill" for years. They provide unique lighting modifications at a very low cost, and this kit has some nice extras!First, the light discs themselves. I own a number of these, with the purchases going back years. This is the first time I have seen handles on the discs! Great idea! It makes holding them so easy, and most of the time, it's not me holding them, because I am on the camera. It's either some grip who I just enlisted or someone who I got to come along to help.The main disc is about 43" in diameter. This is a good size for many applications. Yes, you can get larger ones, but outside they can become much harder to hold up against even a light breeze. The translucent material is good for either shooting the light through (as in putting the disc between the sun and your subject) or as a reflector (bouncing light onto the surface of the disc and using the light being bounced back) The translucent fabric will not be bright as the white surface in the kit, but will provide some bounce. So, two uses for this one product so far.Also included in the kit, is a black/white/sliver/gold option "bag". This goes over the top of your white disc. When you are done, you have the same shape as your white disc, but now it's sliver or gold or black or white.Sliver gives you a "hard" bounce - it can create shadows, but it does kick back a lot of light.Gold gives you another "hard" bounce but with the advantage of a warmer light than the sliver. Depends on what you want. Some feel people shots work best with warmer light.White gives you a very soft bounce. Being a "flat" white, the light is very soft but it is also the weakest return of these bounce boards.Black is what's sometimes called "negative light". Put your subject near a north window light. Perhaps looking at the camera. If you place the sliver reflector just out of camera view, on the opposite side of the window, between your subject, you might find that you now have a 1:1 lighting ratio on the face. Each side is of equal brightness. Put the black side in the same position. The black is going to "absorb" the light from the window side, and the result will be much more dramatic. The face may now be almost without any light on it at all. So, the black side can be helpful to "remove" light and create more shadow areas.The kit also includes both a bracket mount and a small cold shoe mount. I would be careful using the bracket mount. The Reflectors are a odd shape and require a fair amount of support. If you are going to try using the bracket, make sure you purchase a heavy duty stand and a few sand bags, to make sure the entire structure stays where you put it. You don't want this to fall on someone! Although it's possible someone could get hurt, it will hurt your reputation a lot more! Always play is safe!Bottom Line - This is an excellent value for five different 43" diameter Reflectors, and a bag to store everything in! The material is a little bit light-weight from other units, but the cost of other units is far more than this! These light modifiers are almost used daily by crews because the products work great, are easy to set up and take down. And yes, they are tricky to fold up the first few times! Keep at it and you'll get it!

As someone who dabbles in photography this was a really cool find. I find these products work really well for my camera style. This is a lightweight travel kit. It fits easily inside my camera backpack or clipped to the outside of it.The bracket is high quality. I have tried other brackets that have easily broken. This one is superior.
