Controller to 6-Pin Adapter
Philips Hue is great, but it only allows for a single, continuous lightstrip run. Litcessory products allow for several! This Controller to 6-Pin adapter, specifically designed for the Philips Hue Lightstrip system, allows for any Litcessory product or a Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus Extension to be connected directly to a Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus controller. There are two version of this adapter, a hardwired version and a detachable version. You will need to identify which version you need by looking at your Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus controller.
These adapters solve the issue created by the starter lightstrip either being directly attached to the controller (the Hardwired Version) or the issue created by the controller’s connector size being smaller than any Litcessory product or a Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus Extension (the Detachable Version).
One adapter connects to the controller and the other attaches to the starter lightstrip. Once both adapters are attached, it will provide a 6-pin connection between the controller and the starter lightstrip that can be used to attach any Litcessory product or a Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus Extension.
This product is great for...
- Any custom lighting setup where a Litcessory extension cable is placed between the controller and the first strip of lights
- Installations where the controller needs to be placed in a different location than the first strip of lights (for example, to reach a power source)

Will Litcessory products cause my lightstrip to be dimmer?
- No, Litcessory products do not affect the brightness of the lights, as long as your total lightstrip run length (lightstrips plus any Litcessory product length) stays within 10 meters, your lights will be just as bright!"
What is reverse polarity, and how do I fix it?
- Reverse polarity happens when you plug in the wrong side of a 6-pin connector. The flow of electricity gets reversed, and the lightstrip won't turn on. This is a common occurrence when setting up your project and it is easily fixed.
How do I know which version of the Controller To 6-Pin Adapter to choose?
- There are two controller versions: a detachable version and a hardwired version. Please see the image below to identify which controller version you have.
How do I extend the distance between the controller and the lightstrip?
- To extend the distance between the controller and the lightstrip, you will first need to connect one of our controller to 6-pin adapters. Then you can plug in an extension cable.

I found it confusing to locate exactly what I was needing to extend and improve my existing light strips. The amount of options and varieties weren’t presented in a fool proof manner. I had to order, then return then reorder what I thought would work for my set up and the final choice still wasn’t exactly what I needed. The product itself is of premium quality. Pricing is quite high.

Siguiendo las instrucciones es relativamente sencillo de instalar y puedes multiplicar las opciones a la hora de instalar una tira LED Hue Lightstrip (separar la tira del controlado, conectar un splitter, etc.). Puedes hacerlo por bastante menos dinero si sabes soldar o hacer empalmes en este tipo de cables, pero con este accesorio resulta realmente sencillo.

Ottimo prodotto, utile quando si deve "modificare" gli attacchi di alimentazione della lightstrip, ad esempio per fare passare il cavo dell'alimentazione attraverso una forassite, perchè purtroppo i cavi verso l'alimentatore sono saldati e l'unica soluzione è tagliarli e ricollegarli con questo prodotto diventa facilissimo! Consigliato
