I got two separate sets of these radios from seller "Datairo". Both sets (4 radios) I got are labelled as Baofeng BF-88A but they're programmed for European PMR frequencies on 446Mhz instead of Canadian/US FRS frequencies on 462/467MHz. Baofeng also makes BF-88E for European market, so maybe someone just stuck different stickers on these?This means they're won't work with other FRS radios and are illegal to operate (but at low power output you're not very likely to get in trouble). To fix this, you'll need to spend another $10-15 on a "baofeng programming cable" and either use Baofeng software or a popular app called CHIRP to correct frequencies (you can easily find correct FRS frequencies online). I contacted the seller and that's what they told me to do.Once I corrected frequencies, these radios are excellent! They're compact but have a lithium battery so they work all day for our family. Transmission range is almost identical to our much more expensive Motorola and Uniden radios, which makes sense since transmission power is limited by law. Transmissions are generally clear and these Baofeng radios are plenty loud on the receiving end.Included headsets works surprisingly well as well, but got an external mic instead (they're only $20 for 2).All in all, this is an outstanding value radio set that lasts all day (why do so many big brands still use old Ni-MH batteries???). Highly recommend these if you can reprogram them to the right frequencies.Btw, range of all our radios is about 1km around here.

It came susprisingly in new pach this times with features of usb direct charging port on the battery along with as ysual seperate dock chargers which are also usb type for each of the 2 units in the pack. I am inpresed with this added feature. The antenna is fixed and shorter than detachable ones but are powerful to same level as detachable longer ones. The talking range is acceptable and battery back up is also good and matches price range. This radio is very handy and pocket sized. Reccommended!!

They work great,and sound is very good quality...distance is pretty good on them and small enough to carry in pocket or strap onto your belt with no issues, very light weight and ear peice is pretty good quality for sound and voice through them is pretty clear and says you from taking radio off your belt or out of your pocket to use for talking to orhers

I ordered these so i can keep in contact with my elderly Mother, I live with her, but when she's in bed, if she needs me, she can just use a walkie talkie instead of having to yell, and have me possibly not hear her. These work great, maybe too great! lol, they pick up other people talking quite often, and it can get quite loud. I realize there are channels that u can switch to, but it happens literally on every channel! lol. I live right next to a hwy, so i am assuming im picking up truckers that are driving by, and the odd ambulance or fire truck. I probably should have gotten an intercom, but i thought she could bring this thing with her, incase she needs me, and im not near, but we rarely use them anymore because of the interference. They would probably work great. im just in a bad spot.

I got them to use inside my store and they are great. Battery lasts. Easy to use. Good range and volume. Only problem is that sometimes the sound is muffled so we have to repeat ourselves but overall 8/10

This product is of high quality and the batteries are rechargeable. Of course, we only tested it to the extent that we know it is not damaged because it is one of my son's Christmas wishes and it is not used now, but it is worth buying.
