Very nicely machined with no flaws whatsoever with the numbering easily readable. The square itself is about an inch too small though as you cannot use it to square the edge on a typical 2"x4" piece of lumber. Could possibly be good for finish work but definitely not a solid fit for rough framing. At it's current price point of $17 I think it's about 15% too high. It doesn't solve the world's problems but it is another tool in the tool box.
