Good visibility between the connected blocks. Thumbscrews lock down tightly.

Learned about this in their assembly and usage video. Nice little add on for the GRR-Rippers, gives them some cool additional features. Seemed cheaper to buy than to design and build myself.

I mean, it deflects dust and joins 2 Grr-Rippers together .... but its kind of more flimsy than I was expecting from MicroJig...When the second Grr-Ripper passes the blade, there is no way anyone would be able to still have their hand on the first grr-ripper (with any safety), and lifting the two grippers by just one gripper flexes the connector quite a bit to the point you feel it might snap.I think they need to make something like 2 bars to join the Grr-Rippers together with a clear window in the middle.Still, I would recommend this product.

Great way to keep one's hands and body safer in the woodshop. They also allow for cuts that would be much more difficult and dangerous to make any other way on the table saw. They can take a couple of minutes to set up, but I find that spending that time allows me to be a lot more confident in the cut.

The basic micro jig is almost a must-have accessory for anyone doing any close work on a table saw. With it, I am cutting small pieces that I'd never attempt without it. Like good product developers, these fellows have found ways to make useful add-ons and sell them at a high price. I can't say that this has any great utility as a particle deflector as I don't get much in the way of particles spraying from my table saw. But it is a necessary item with which to connect two Grippers to allow you to easily process longer pieces. I gladly bought it and use it. But I rather objected to the need to buy the handle extensions for both units in order to use it. It builds profits, but becomes unnecessarily expensive. I'd guess that most users use it as a bridge between two Grippers and therefore would need a package with two handles and the bridge at a better price than each sold separately. You can do well with longer pieces using two unconnected Grippers. In fact, after a certain length, having the Grippers connected is a disadvantage. So if you're into buying these accessories rather than making them, this is one to buy--well designed, well made, and easy to use.
