With a little patience, assembly was not an issue. Just RTFM. Using them effectively and safely takes a little practice, and again patience setting them up for cuts. I'd rather take a few moments to set these up properly than to risk fingers and hands using some stick to push work through a saw or smaller piece past a spinning router bit.The two pack helps to lower the per unit cost as well.

Bridge Kit is incomplete and cannot be completed. I tried and tried but the parts don’t exist. This isn’t very safe if you cannot attach the handles properly. This kit does not include the hardware necessary to complete the tool as per their “safe” instructions. Nobody can help me with this and I’m left with a hunk of plastic that may or may not keep my hands safe around saws. I wish this product would do the right thing and have the hardware package for the Bridge kit sent out. I can only comment on the Grripper here so I blame the Grriper for not stepping up and sending me the Offset Oval Nuts part #GR-H8.

I'll preface this review with the following information: This review is based on initial impressions of the GRR Ripper, I have not yet used it on my table saw but look forward to it become a tool I always use.I received this item today and was not really expecting much, nowadays with so much junk around it takes an outstanding product to prompt me to provide feedback.I must say, this thing is an engineering marvel. The material the product is made of, whilst looking cheap in the pictures is actually a beautifully dense nylon-type material with some heft. It is slightly flexible, but also very strong. Each piece of the GRR Ripper is moulded to perfection and the whole thing fits together like a precision engineered machine.Speaking of engineering, all credit goes to the designers with little touches like o-rings on the screws of each removeable piece, so they don't fall out when you remove said piece of the GRR Ripper. Such a simple addition, with so much value. No more "little box/bag of pieces related to device A".The green "grip" material is super grippy, perfect. This kit also came with the handle "bridge" to add more stability. It takes a lot to impress me, and the GRR Ripper far exceeds my somewhat demanding expectations for a product. Kudos and thank-you Micro Jig.I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a super-flexible (as in "many uses") push block with a ton of features and expandability.

Recently bought my first ever table saw. First project meant I would make my own 2x2s from 2x4s and several other cuts. All went well, but not 100% precise using a push stick. I then saw multiple videos on how quickly something can go terribly wrong on a table saw. And, the statistics on table saw injuries absolutely confirm this. Not even enough time for your involuntary reactions to save you from losing a finger or worse. Scary. After watching GRR-Ripper videos, it looked like these things might offer safety and more control for precise cuts, so I decided to buy the GRR-Ripper Double Pro Pack. When they arrived, I was impressed by every aspect of what I received. The materials are very high quality. Dense plastic, brass fittings, effective gripping surface. All components were very, very well thought-out. The manual is even high quality with slick pages, color diagrams, and also well thought-out. It even has the blow-up diagram and parts names/list on a gatefold page so that when you open the gatefold, it lays next to every other manual page you flip to, for easy reference.During my first use of the GRR-Ripper, I realized that ignorance truly is bliss. The GRR-Ripper gave me SO much control and safety in every operation I performed. What a feeling of confidence!I'm also glad I got the 2-pack. I have a project table saw (Dewalt DWS7491rs), so the tabletop isn't huge. But using the GRR-Ripper hand-over-hand method with both GRR-Rippers for longer stock really made it incredibly easy to control the piece throughout the cut for incredibly precise and safe cuts. I've made impossibly thin and accurate cuts, with ease and confidence.Final point - the package didn't contain the DVD it was supposed to. No problem, as human error is often involved in packing. I contacted the Amazon seller who contacted Microjig. Three days later, the DVD was in my mailbox. And, even the DVD tutorials are quality. Overall, very well done MicroJig - and thanks for a great product that exceeded my expectations!

I searched long and hard and my eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw Amazon selling this kit at this price! ... It has everything you really need, the few extra things in the bigger kit are less used attachments and it was cheaper to buy this kit and buy them separately. As far as the Grr-Rippers themselves go, if you don't have at least one, you are working dangerously. These things have saved me several times in the few months I've had them and I saw improvements in the accuracy of my cuts from the very first cut using them! (and I was an experienced woodworker!) ... Yes, they are a little expensive, but MicroJig's quality is remarkable! Everything is very well made and thought out. When you set them, your workpiece is secure and you have full control and you go into your cut with full confidence. I use them on 90% of my cuts.(I have a friend who bought cheap knockoffs from China and it ended up costing him only $20 less than the Grr-Rippers and those things are flimsy, the parts don't fit well together and wouldn't leave me feeling at all confident using them)

I bought two of these and one of them was missing the screws that are used to attach the handle. The other one was complete though. After watching the promo video it seems very useful but I find it is usually easier to use my homemade push stick. It takes too much time to adjust so I often end up not even using it.When cutting thin strips (with the thin side close to the fence) I find it doesn't grip well enough so when the thin strip is done cutting it gets left behind by the GRR-Ripper.

I've owned these GRR-Rippers for over two months & can enthusiastically saw they are worth every penny!Pros:- vastly increases safety (they have saved me from what could have been two bad accidents* had I not been using them)- increases confidence in smaller cuts- improves control over both the keeper & discard pieces- very well made & designedCons:- currently haven't needed all the included pieces (time will tell if I do though)- price is definitely up there, even if on sale (but can one actually put a price on their fingers? I say the price IS worth the added safety factor)* First close call involved a kickback in which the Grr-Ripper protected my hand from the flying wood. Second close call was when some twisted wood pinched & resulted in there being a chunk of Grr-Ripper going missing...While these have increased my level of confidence, I have also learnt that I must still be cautious this can be a double-edged sword -- too much confidence, especially considering the some of my tablesaw's safety features do not work with these (likewise wouldn't though with some cuts that can't be performed with them). I can say my next investment will be some compatible splitters...

Allows ripping of 1/4” & 1/8 “ pieces off board stock. Let’s you do an more accurate cut safely. Guides stock through the blade and keeps it pushed Against the fence. You need 2 to guide through longer pieces of wood. Order the pro pack with 2 units included.

This product is great. I was reluctant to buy it initially because of the price. Having finally bought it, its worth every penny and more. It is the safest push device I have used both on the table saw and the bandsaw. It helps me to make some great cuts. I have not used it on the router table yet so I won't comment. Cant recommend it enough for safety and quality of cuts.

Bottom line up front, if you work on a table saw, buy the GRR-Ripper Double Pack Pro Model.I've waited a few days after receiving these to really get a feel for the product, using them for several projects on the table saw and router table. When I opened the box and started reading the assembly instructions I realized I needed more help. So I popped the DVD in the computer and followed the assembly instructions step by step. You should, too. After assembling the first GRR-Ripper (kind of a silly name) I assembled the second without the aid of the DVD.I then watched the DVD. I liked the idea that the guys in the video were real wood workers - guys that looked like they actually understood what they were saying and why they were saying it. No actors. The DVD has a lot of great ideas and visual demonstrations of how to use the GRR-Ripper to get the most out of it. I came away with a complete understanding of how the product works.Aside from the increased safety of using GRR-Rippers, they do improve the quality of cuts by giving you more control of the work piece which translates into more stability at the saw. Rips and cross cuts on cherry with no burning. Just like in their video. And, the GRR-Rippers gave me more confidence that my hands were safely away from the spinning blade and gave me more control over kickback. Adjustments are quick and easy and quickly became second nature.I also used the GRR-Ripper at the router table, although I did not feel a huge improvement over using smaller push pads. I think that's because the pieces I was routing were smaller pieces of work. The GRR-Ripper is a significantly sized tool and you could smother a small piece with it. That's surely an asset at the table saw where you want total control over small pieces; not so much at the router table. In all fairness, I can see the benefit when routing/shaping a bigger piece. I've not had the chance yet to do that. This is an excellent tool and I was reluctant to spend the money, thinking the GRR-Ripper might end up like some of my other equipment, sitting under the work bench gathering dust. But I found myself reaching for the GRR-Rippers every time I turned on the saw. Not only because it was safer but because it improved the quality and precision of my work. Not many pieces of safety equipment do both.
