I highly recommend this bath chair! We have a shower stall with a 2 inch lip however our family member only has use of one leg and still had difficulty clearing this when transferring. We took home a few bath chairs from the hospital to try at home prior to discharge but nothing worked for us and our bathroom set up and layout except for this chair. I would have rated it 5 stars however the seat foam pad was not glued well in some places, however this did not affect the utility and sturdiness of the chair.

This chair was easy to assemble and the swivel mechanism works well. The legs and seat feel very sturdy, and the handles are very supportive. It fits well in my shower and has been a great tool for showering post-surgery. I would order this again.

A bit overpriced for the quality. It’s decent but not the best. It’s lightweight, aluminum frame and hollow plastic seat/back rest. Clicks and unclicks fairly easily for travel or storing, if necessary. The back rest isn’t very stable, it’s wobbly. Over time too much weight leaning on it could be a problem. The chair is also wobbly. The sturdiest things on this chair are the armrests. It swivels nice and smooth though. You can lock the swivel action as well. The foam is thin but adds comfort. I’m not sure this chair can be trusted with the heavier end weight capacity or that it would comfortably fit someone who is near 300lbs to begin with.
