NOT WATERPROOF.False advertising here for this product. Water resistant yes, but I bought it for the waterproof feature and I’m not impressed at all. Leaks within seconds. I wanted to use this for a fuel controller on Atv. Now I have to find a new brand.

Nanuk is a Canadian company which started making cases in Quebec. Nanuk has great customer service and their cases are top-notch Canadian made. I currently have 4 different cases counting this one. To my dismay, this 310 Nano case is: "Designed in Canada & Made in China." So, not Canadian made unlike their other cases which are designed and manufactured here. Nanuk (AKA: Plasticase) seems to have started to branch out and leave the manufacturing to other places.(e.g.: Their locks are made in the USA, the shoulder straps are made in Korea and now the 310 Nano is made in China.) ...Sad...I am using the 310 as a small First-Aid / emergency kit for everyday use. The dual lock ("Power-claw") works amazingly well, this is a complete different design from the other Power-claws and the super small pressure equalizer valve is an awesome feature.The case is made of pure polycarbonate with rubber bumpers inside and out... One feature I really like is the "Smart Strap," you can attach it in different configurations to fit the job...The 310 Nano, seems like it could be IP54 ? ... it does float and keeps dust and water out pretty well... (I guess since it is made in China, Nanuk does not certify the "Ingress Protection.")Beefs:One beef with this case is the amount of "white" residue inside the case and out... It seems that someone at the factory went trigger happy with the glue gun. I was able to clean most of it but some remains around the hinge and inside edge...Overall, great product at
