I got this light reflector/diffuser set to improve my social media photography/videos.You get a set of 5 reflectors (gold, silver, translucent, white and black) - although I have used more than others, which come in a carry case.The reflector is really easy to set up, and just as easy to pack away.I have used this kit with most of my new photos and home videos and have noticed a difference in the outputs.Overall, for the price I recommend if you are looking to improve on your photography kit.

It's a great product and one that every photographer or videographer needs. But I had to laugh when I opened the package because here's the first thing you see on the plastic outer bag, "Be careful. Please hold the frame firmly and expand it slowly when taking it out!" I wonder how many people have beaned themselves opening this up, LOL?If you carefully remove the 15.5" disk from it's protective bag and unfold it, what you get is a 43" reflector. Also in the protective bag is the holder clamp that lets you attach it to a light stand.The 43" reflector has a black side and a silver side. It's actually a cover and when you unzip it, inside is the translucent reflector. And if you pull out the translucent reflector and flip the cover inside out, you get the gold and white reflectors. It's a nifty way to get maximum versatility from one very portable reflector package.Reflectors are very important lighting tools and you will find lots of use for this one.

The manufacturer's photos makes it appear as if these are separate pieces.It's actually a main piece, with the 43" diameter (quite large) that is a diffuser which creates a star shape if you shine your lamps directly on it (you can bounce from it, of course, but mainly its for direct diffusion.The other colors, solid white, gold, silver, and black (negative fill) come in the form of a reversible cover that you must slip over the main diffuser, sort of like a pillow case.One side gold and the other white, turn it inside out and then its silver on one side and black on the other (I think, it might be the other way around, but you get the idea).At first it kinda freaked me out that the zipper on the "pillow case" would end up inside out when reversing the whole thing but, it worked!I did feel the whole thing has to be treated with care - not common on most video/film/photo shoots - otherwise it might end up a torn mess. But it does what it's supposed to - reflect and diffuse!The addition of the clamp for your light stand is a nice touch, it holds on to the edge of the diffuser and makes it a more elegant way to rig than using a spring clamp. The clamp is not top-grade, all metal, so, again, treat it with care.Of course, getting all of this bundle back into the bag where it began so neatly tucked is a bit of a challenge but this is something I always have my digital film production students attempt in order to try their patience and get a few laughs!But seriously, this is a professional piece of gear that just needs to be taken care of if you want it to last!
