This is a solid little amp; stunningly small actually. I still can't believe how small Class D amps can be, being around since their inception and being used to massive, hot class A/B amps. The amount of power it can put out in such a small form factor is pretty amazing. I have it hooked up to some Focal Aria 905s and it is perfect for them. They are rated for 100W RMS, and as long as I don't push them too hard this amp works wonderfully. I would never listen that loud anyway - I don't get it over 1/3 of the way up, really. It does sound great, and not clinical like many have described class D as being (though that could fully be biased opinion). One thing I do notice, being used to very quiet class A/B amps and a THX XXX headphone amp, is that it doesn't have the blackest background. I do hear a slight hiss close-up when they are off. Pretty quiet though overall, and I'm running mine as nearfields in a really quiet room (lots of treatment, I can hear my ears ring with no music playing). Most people would probably never notice. For the price this is exceptional. I love having the knob right there to adjust as well. Bluetooth is convenient, and USB + 3.5mm inputs are great as well. One issue though is that if you just plug in the USB - even if it's not plugged into any source - it will switch to that input. So you can't just leave it plugged in and switch inputs. I wish it had a button or switch for this.My main other beef is that sound doesn't come on until the knob is at ~9 o'clock. Not sure why that is. It also makes an audible "pop" if I switch it off if the volume isn't turned down all the way (no soft on-off). Makes me a bit wary of turning up the volume then forgetting to turn it down before switching it off. Luckily I tend to listen pretty low.For the price though it's still more amazing than not. Maybe there are other good value tiny amps with better features, I'm not sure. But this one is pretty great.
