The internal fill hose on the pressure pot only reaches to around 3" from the bottom, so you require quite a bit of fluid to make it work. Replace this with a portion of the hose that is used on the catch container. The catch container hose is opague not transparanet, so you can't actually see the fluid as it's being pulled from the caliper...Replace this with a section of clear pvc tubing( about $1.50 CND) This way you can see any bubbles in the line and know when you ahve completely flushed the air out of the calipers/lines.Once these 2 mod's are done...works perfect!

Just do some research for the brake reservoir cap in your car or truck overall for the price its worth it to have it.

As a side note before I say anything else, my friend has the much more expensive Mityvac pressure bleeder, and he says he thinks the parts for it might be cross compatible, so that's potentially handy!I've only used this on my Mk1 Focus so far, but it worked a treat! The only 2 downsides I can see so far are:- this pressure bleeder will only work with master cylinders that have a screw on reservoir cap, so most older Hondas won't be compatible for example (if it's the half turn and it seals type, that won't work, it has to have plastic threads)- the gasket on the reservoir cap just falls out whenever it's upside down, i.e. whenever you go to put it on the master cylinder. This is annoyingOther than that, no issues. It worked fantastically, bled a completely drained brake system in 5 minutes flat with no pedal pumping. When I say completely drained, we changed all 4 calipers and all the lines were disconnected for days, so it was totally empty. This pressure bleeder did the job right away, quickly and easily with no problems. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to make brake bleeding easier.

It took a while and a bit of fiddling around with it to create a vacuum inside it, but once it started working it worked well.Plastic is decent quality and of the caps and dials I've physically examined so far, they all seem to be well made. There's a spanner for the parts that need to be tight to ensure you get them on right.

This brake bleeder looked good at first until I went to test it. I could not get any pressure to register inside the pump, so I made sure the lid was tight, which it was. When I took the lid off, I saw that the inside of the thread top area was very rough and not finished well at all. It was leaking from all the outlets and after much back and forth I was able to get a full seal, however my gauge was now sideways, as there was no washer behind, and I had to crank it tight which also stressed the plastic and made it prone to cracking. Next, I took it to my Toyota to bleed the brakes and the reservoir connecting lid was too small for mine. As a result, after all the work, it did not work for me. Rather than saying it fits most models, it should say which ones it works for. I can say that it does not fit 2016 and newer Rav4 models.
