Excellent charger/ maintainer... the only brand I use on the Motorcycle's, ATV's, RV's I own. Tried a couple of other brands and have ended up with cooked batteries.Optimate has worked out great for me ... even saved a couple of batteries as advertised... one is a 12v AGM battery which I've used on VFR800 for 8yrs.

The concept is great...excellent for summer applications...comes with a cheap indoor power cord which snaps at the base - far to delicate @ below -20c not for snowmobile season ... dont throw ur $$$ away

Simply the best equipment you can own to exort sulphite demons and revive your batteries. I also own a Noco Genius which does much the same thing in battery maintenance but my Optimate has revived batteries abandoned by the other charger. Two months ago my solar system failed to keep the deep cycle batteries in my motorhome charged above 9.5 volts. Recently my Optimate revived them over 3 days back to a 13.25 volt float level. Optimate is now installed as a permanent fixture in my motorhome and activated on shore power.

This Charger does not function with Lithium Ion car batteries. Amazon’s product description does Not indicate that the charger is not suitable for Lithium Ion batteries, but to my surprise, the instructions manual inside the box clearly indicates: DO NOT use for Lithium Ion batteries as per photo.
