Your cart is empty.The OX Pro 24-Inch Imperial Tuff Rule is a rigid, versatile, and compact imperial measuring rile built with a practical purpose for all tradesmen. Every dimension on this rule, the length, width, and thickness, serves a practical purpose incorporating the requirements of everyday construction. Each fold-out increment represents 6” featuring the common measurements: 6”, 12”, 18” and 24”. Once fully extended, the rule is 24” long, designed for measuring the standard width of ½ sheet, stud spacing and floor joist spacing. Framing timber – nogs and dwangs made easy at 45mm. While standard screw spacing – GIB + ply can be accounted for at 300mm. The OX Tuff Rule includes a bonus angle finder from 0-180° to allow for easy marking of mitres and identifying the angles of existing structures. The center line feature allows for quick and precise marking of offset lines and split centers. Fit with premium brass hinges and pins for smooth operation, the Tuff Rule is constructed from tough engineered ABS plastic for the ultimate durability.

Nice addition to the tool belt. Great for precise measurements or tight places. We shall see how it holds up over the months, but it feels well made.

This ruler is much more versatile than a standard wooden or plastic ruler. You get up to 24 inches of ruler in the space of 6 inches. Perfect for throwing in a drawer or backpack. Would be great for students or crafters. The back has a 6 inch section that can be used to find the center of an object, as long as that object is 6 inches or less. Construction seems sturdy and the overall build quality is good. The angle finder is a nice addition, however the measurements are pretty hard to read due to the small size of the markings. Overall, a great product!

This ruler comes in glossy blue-and-black cardstock packaging, with a retail UPC. It would fit right in on a peg in any hardware store. I already owned plenty of rulers, but this one caught my eye. I have an antique wooden Stanley folding rule that flips/folds in a similar fashion, but hadn't seen such features on a modern ruler until now, and this one fits in several additional features too.The Ox Tools ruler is mostly made of "rugged" ABS plastic, which feels tough enough for construction-site use. The product description says the hinge pins are made of brass; they're hidden behind some kind of black coating/cover, so I can't confirm that, but they do all move smoothly. My spot-checks of the angle finder and length measurements appear to be accurate. The markings seem to be slightly recessed, for better durability.
