Instructions for use:
Connect the power supply and equipment, the measuring temperature is displayed,
press the "SET" button, press " + or - " to set the desired temperature (long press " + or - " to quickly increase or decrease),
press "SET" to confirm the setting and return, controller automatically performs the relay ON/OFF.
the thermostat output is 10A relay, meet a variety of high-power loads. LED Indicator: LED off indicates the relay off; Lighting, indicates the relay is closed.
Digital LED Tubes: "LL" indicates sensor open, "HH" indicates overrange, the relay will be forcibly disconnected; "---" indicates high temperature alarm
Long press the "SET" button to enter the main menu settings,
press " + or - " to switching between P0-P6,

This is the first W1209 temperature control board I have worked with. So I am not sure if this is the way it works on all or different manufacturers program them differently. My review is based on this product. I planned to use it to warm up an RFID door access control reader placed outdoor. There are 2 problems with is product. 1) I set the setpoint to -10C, and set the control to Heat mode. It works as expected, but when W1209 is powered down, then back up again, the operating setpoint goes to 0C even though the controller remembers the -10C setpoint. That is the controller turns on the heater at 0C. When I reprogram it, switching to cooler mode that back to heat mode again, then the controller operates at -10C. 2) I set the setpoint to 13C, and put the sensor in the freezer to drop the temperature. Heater turns on at 11C (hysteresis left at 2 degree C), then turns off at 13. It should turn on at 13 and turn off at 15. This is not a big deal as long as you know how it behaves.

I liked the unit except that it should have included set up instructions. I used it to control the DC power to a portable cooleer unit. Did exactly as I had wished it to do.

Works great but you will need to do some searching online to find a proper manual or videos showing how to wire and program the device.

Just connect 12 Volts , connect the device you want turn on , ( relay is a single pole switch), watch video on uTube , Set temp , set PO to H or C ( heating or cooling) . The switch will close at desired temp, small red LED will light when relay engaged. Thats it. Turns on my Hydronic Air matrix when water gets hot enough. No blowing cold air. Only running a week but flawless .

Modified wiring as per utube video. Works fine for 12v dc fan and is quite accurate

Ordered 4 in total with 2 orders. First order was perfect. Both worked as specified. Second order, not so much. One had 2 screws missing but it worked. The second malfunctioned. No relay activity and no setting function. Returned for refund. Awaiting seller communication.
