I installed one on the garden hose to filter the taste of raw well water with high iron and sulfide smell. It works very good for a low flow rate drinking fountain.

One of the rv parks we hooked up to had an overpowering smell of chlorine and it was impossible to use even for washing the dishes. We haven’t returned to that site but this does seem to make a difference and I am happy to use the campsite water for the kettle now instead of lugging around bottles of water.Good value for money.

Bought these to use when pumping water into my hot tub at my camper. The wayer is well water so figure i would give these a try. They work great! The water comes out very clean. Would give 5 stars but had to take a star off because the flow coming out is way slower. I have a high power pump pumping the water to this filter on the end of the hose and its real slow coming out maybe because the filter is so thick but other filters i have used that are just like this havent had the flow issue. Still a fantastic buy at the price i got them at just takes longer to use them.

I keep these on hand in my camper all the time. They are inexpensive and I change out 2-3 times per season. These work well and I have on subscription with Amazon. Easy to install and usually leak free.

I use one of these filters on the marina waterline coming into my boat, it makes a difference in how the water tastes and odor. We don't usually drink water from the tank but for coffee and showers ect, the shore water is a clean odorless. I have used a filter on the incoming water line for years...these filters are a great product.

Our Town water has additives that are terrible tasting, so what I do is first of all run the water through a whole house charcoal filter then run the water for drinking through one of these filters. The result is fresh-tasting water that we use for drinking and cooking.

I filter my RV drinking water 3 ways before it hits my cup/glass. First, this blue inline filter grabs the big nasty stuff; it's also the cheapest to replace so it is well placed at the front of the line at the faucet. Then a 10 micron house style filter has a chance to grab what it can. Then a sawyer .1 micron filter is attached inline near the end and closest to the faucet. So when I turn on the faucet I know It's nice and clean no matter what park in a nice town or bathroom outside an old nuclear testing ground I fill up at :)The investment is worth it; just change these first front-line filters often (once every 2 months if you live, shower, cook, and drink from the tank) (or once every 4 months if you don't use your rig very often) You'll know the limits when the water tastes funny because the filter is full.
