Expensive….but top of the line quality. My daughter uses it to protect her IPhone from getting crushed inside of her school bag. It fits an IPhone 11 with a wireless battery perfect. I drilled several holes in the top to dissipate any heat.

I am using this case a bit outside its intended purpose as it is currently housing a VESC speed controller for an Esk8, but this case has survived it all heat and cold and many a crashes, not many cases in this form factor built quite like a pelican, if you can afford it its worth it.

If you're buying this you probably already know Pelican Cases are great. This is no exception (although pricey). Wish they had more color options though. Black seems to be the only one in stock regularly.

EDITED TO REFLECT VENDOR CHANGE OF HEART: I bought two Pelican cases from this vendor to see which one fit my electronics better. Neither of them fit my devices. Originally this vendor had a "no returns" policy, but it looks like they've changed that. When I checked a week or so ago, I could process the return. Other than that the cases are great. I've used them lots in the past and they keep my devices safe and dry. I'm changing my one-star review to a four star review.

I've used this case for several hiking and camping trips to hold precious electronics. I have had no issue with is and it is still functioning properly. I would not expect anything less from Pelican.

I love these cases. I bought several of them (1010, 1020, 1040 & 1050) and turned the 1040 into a hard shell diabetes kit case (glucometer, test strips, pen needles, lancets, alcohol wipes, and insulin pen) I removed the rubber insert and lined both halves with sticky-back velcro and then put a small tab of the opposite velcro on each item. Works like a charm - everything stays in place, it's all contained in a small package, and I don't have to worry about my stuff getting crushed when I travel. The 1040 size fits a couple of altoid - size tins side-by side perfectly (with the liner removed). The tins work really well for containing enough pen needles and lancets for a week or so use. The case latches securely and is damn near indestructible. It has a loop for a belt or nylon strap and includes a carabiner. I think you can even put a small padlock on some models. I would caution against submerging the cases for any length of time - I think they're more designed for water resistance rather than protecting your delicate electronics from a full fledged dunking. I do think they float, so that's a bonus too.

Perfectly fits my Galaxy S5 with Otterbox case. I already had one of these in yellow but I wanted a clear one to see if I had any messages without opening the case.Upon receipt of the package, I put some paper inside and submerged the case in my bathtub for half an hour to test the seal. Unsurprisingly, it did not leak. Very pleased with Pelican products.
