1. On the operation interface, rotate the encoder to adjust the speed, CW key -- forward rotation, CCW key -- reverse rotation, RUN/STOP key -- operation stop exit.

2. Press and hold the encoder to enter the menu setting.

1. On the menu setting interface, rotate the encoder to adjust and change the parameter codes F-01~F-13.

2. Long press the encoder, save the parameters and exit to enter the operation interface.

1. On the menu setting interface, briefly press the encoder to enter the parameter setting state of F-XX corresponding menu, the parameter flashes, and then briefly press Shift to rotate the encoder to adjust the parameter.

2. Press the RUN/STOP key briefly to exit the parameter setting and return to the number adjustment interface of the main menu.

Easy and simple unit for controlling a Nema17/23 stepper motor. This unit is only a controller and not a motor Driver. I'm using it with the TB6600 motor driver which was easy to setup. I wanted a controller that was easy to set up, had a fairly good range of control options and did not require programming a microcontroller such as an Arduino. Note: This unit can be used with an Arduino as it has a UART.

These are robust little modules that do almost anything that I would like to do with a small stepper motor. Very configurable for speed, steps, etc. Much simpler and cheaper than an arduino lashup. Used one to with a geared stepper to drive the long axis of my metal lathe as a power feed. Easily configured to get the speed and feed required. Very cost effective and final product looks good.

I used this with the EASON CNC Stepper Motor Driver DM556 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RHLDZD5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and a stepper motor I had in my stock of motors. It worked great and was easy to setup and use. The real bonus is that the device has a ttl serial interface that uses Modbus RTU so you can set any of the 13 parameters remotely (see my answer by searching "serial" in the Q&A section). Be sure to use a ttl-to-RS232 adapter like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LPK0Z9A?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsI have several home automation projects in mind for this device but have not decided which one to do first. I will post an updated review once I have a project completed.

I t took me a while to figure out how to make this work. A wiring diagram of readable size would be nice. I had to figure out that the ground wire needs to be routed to 3 positions on the driver. No diagram of this nor the wiring needed to do this. The modes are not well explained (bad translation) and poor layout so it takes some time to understand what the chart is explaining. Now it works fine for stand alone testing, but not much that be done to integrate this into an automatic system it is only for manual use.
