These bulbs produces good viewing, but i doubt that is 60% more than stock standard bulbs.

They work fine, but I no longer use the AUTO light setting in my car as it seems to use up the life of the bulbs faster. With my Honda Civic 2016, I have replaced the bulbs 3 times already. I never replaced my bulbs once on my Dodge Caliber for the whole time I owned the car.

I always buy bulbs in 2's as our Honda's seems to burn out one, then the other one goes a week or so later. These are great replacement bulbs, bright but not blinding to other drivers.

They light up the road at night but don't blind like these absurdly unnecessarily bright LEDs. Make sure you buy a headlight restoration kit like the 3m clear coat kit so the light actually has a chance to properly do its job. Another bit of advice is when installing, absolutely do not touch the glass bulb housing, it will leave a grease or oil stain on it and cause a hot spot on the bulb making it last not nearly as a long. If you can, have a bottle of isopropyl alcohol ready so you can easily pour some over the bulb before you lock it into place. I did that and these have been fantastic, no hiccups.

Within less than 1.5 year from buying one of the two bulbs is burnt. These are suppose to be high quality bulbs, so either a lemon or I dunno...

These are good quality bulbs. I've come to trust that Philips bulbs work really well. I can expect a number of years out of these. They were easy to install in the socket. Though I'd recommend people don't touch the glass portion of the bulb. That will insure you don't get hand grease or oils on them and prevent premature failure. Also; I like how these come in a pair; this ensures that both bulbs give off the same light.

The oem type quality of these lights alone warrant such a favorable rating. I've ordered dozens of lights through Amazon for various applications and these by far have the best look of quality. Installation was a breeze and the lights are much brighter than oem. I've installed them as fog lights in my 05 Passat. They do not run hotter than oem, which some VW fanboys have said would happen. In turn my fog light housings are not melting, which said fanboys said would occur. I am also not receiving any error/VAGCOM codes. The lights have been working for a very long time now, look like high end oem 4000k hyper white, do not offend fellow motorists and have improved visibility tremendously.

These are much better, and longer lasting than the equivalent/similar sylvania model which only seem to last just 5 months. These Philips VisionPlus bulbs usually last me 9 months to a year or more, and they throw a good amount of bright, white light that lights up the road very nicely! They may not be as bright as HID bulbs, but I can't stand that kind of painful light coming at me from other cars, so I don't want to do that to others either. But these are very good, last the longest in their class, and a decent value. I have been buying them for my '01 Honda CR-V for a several years on & off, but when I couldn't find them one time in my local auto parts stores, I ended up buying the sylvania equivalents like I did years ago, and once again all I got out of those was about 5 months! But one thing I found out over the years overall is that the brighter the bulb, the shorter their life is...at least when it comes to hologen headlamp bulbs. But the Philips bulbs seem to last the longest.
