Got this out of the box and started testing. I like the PID which is easy to configure and responsive for regular heating loads, unfortunately the shortest cycle time is 1 second which results in active cycling for low thermal mass elements. However it works well for something like an oven or boiler and for the price is pretty good.Throw that "Fotek" relay right in the trash, though. Under a 10A load that sucker got scorching hot in seconds. They say every "Fotek" for sale here is fake and overrated, but usually a "40A" at least contains a 20A triac. This one even has a cheaper case and low grade aluminum heatsink, I didn't bother to open it to find what junk silicon it contained. If you can get this PID unit without the SSR I would do so as there is no value in the SSR.

Looked as described, everything was in the box. Wired it per instructions, and when turned on the power, smoke came outside. No life.Returned the item, probably just a bad luck.

Received only the controller and thermocouple. SSR was NOT in the packaging. The controller itself does not have connections for an alarm which is shown in the diagram. Not needed for my project but if that's a feature you need then look elsewhere.I would give it 5 stars if the description was accurate.It's frustrating having to wait for new parts because of bad product descriptions. If I didn't need both controller and SSR now I would make a return, now I have to order an SSR. This is the second time in a week I've had bad product descriptions.

The product was delivered on time and worked perfectly. The sensor cable was only about 3 feet long and has a nut with 6 mm thread which I didn’t need and needed to cut off.
