About this item

  • Alternative for glove shooters
  • Great for bowfishing
  • Great for kids or beginners
  • Soft yet strong material
  • Made in USA

Finger Savers are made of a strong yet soft material that allows the shooter to shoot a bow without using a finger tab or release. Wrap your fingers around the Finger Saver which is just below your nocking point and you'll be ready to shoot. Finger Savers save time, creates consistency for beginning shooters like young kids and archers getting started in archery and works great for bowfishing. When you're trying to put more fish in the boat, Finger Savers are the answer. Finger Savers allows you to take faster and more accurate shots.

Got these to save my wife's fingers some hurt using her recurve bow. They come with a pin to thread them onto your bow string, they go on easy and they seem to be really decent quality. Couldn't be happier with the purchase and I'm sure they will last a long time and save her fingers as well. Highly recommended!

These are great, originally bought for my daughter for the N.A.S.P. tournaments I really liked them. I'll be ordering some for myself for bow fishing. Regarding the installation: they do come with a pin. After pressing your bow to take the string off thread the pin through the string loop and slide the finger savers on. Use a pliers to grip the pin (not the string! ) and slide onto the string. You may need to wax the string a little first but I see a lot of mentioning of boiling or heating. It's not needed. Great product and it most definitely is NASP legal.

I look forward to using the 'Finger Saver' when bow fishing for Carp.

Makes it much easier for young scouts (and their leader). Finger savers on the string means one less thing that you have to get them to do before shooting. I waxed the string really well (which I needed to do anyway), put the included ""bobby pin" on the loop, then thread the bobby pin through one finger saver, put the bobby pin in a vise... and pull/massage the finger saver into place. Take it out of the vise and do the same thing on the other end. Just make sure you get the smaller finger saver above the nocking point and the larger finger saver below the nocking point.

When I got this product, there where no instructions and they where smaller then expected. However, even though they were incredibly difficult to get on the string, they work really well and have saved me the time and money of finding a good glove.

When I received my Finger Savers, I was concerned about the size of the opening vs the size of my recurve bow string. I tried to put them on according to the instructional video on Pine Ridge's website with no luck. So I decided to wing it. I used a blow dryer to warm the rubber while I slid it over my string using the included threaded in the package. It took a bit of coaxing and rewarming with the hair dryer, but all in all I only spent about 5 minutes getting them on my string. Now that they're on, I'm very happy with the way they fit and feel!
