Went back and forth between getting this or a traeger. Settled on this because I know I would be unhappy without the ability to sear on a traeger.This grill has been absolutely fantastic. Replaced my old propane grill and my electric vertical smoker. It’s the best of both worlds.

Pit arrived on July 2nd, and we had guest coming over for burgers on July 4th. As I was assembling it, I noticed that almost every piece of the pit had scratches and/or dents. Wanted to return it, but I had a guests coming for the holiday. Functionally, it's great, but I just spent hundreds of dollars for a brand new pit that looks like it fell out of a moving truck on a gravel road.
