This headunit works an advertised, I really just wanted CarPlay in my 99 ek hatch.First launch it boots android and takes about 15 seconds to turn on, but after that the head unit basically goes into sleep mode on key off, so next time you get in it wakes up instantly!In reality it’s a 2gb ram old android tablet shoved into a form factor to work with car, don’t expect too much and you’ll love it! Car play connects within 10 seconds of turning car on, display is bright enough to see during day, and when headlights go on it auto dims.Zlink is the app for CarPlay don’t remove that, but there was another strange ai assistant app I thought was china spyware so I quickly uninstalled that, didn’t need a little robot icon taking up some of my 2gb ram lol

I have been using it for a few weeks and apple car play along with everything else has been working flawlessly. May take some getting use to but trust me this thing works, wireless carplay auto connects to my iPhone within about 15 seconds of turning the car on.

So I cannot confirm longevity yet however the unit does work pretty well and the touch screen on my unit works fine for the price point. The "Z" connect for iPhone works fairly well and the backup camera works nicely. For just over $100 bucks I am satisfied as long as it doesn't die within a few months.....
