This is a great product, and the bright color helps me keep track of it in the busy classroom. I use it to stand in the back of the room and make sure my little darlings are taking notes and not playing Tetris or shopping online. However, it's so light that I'm sure it's just a drop away from shattering into pieces. Also you have to remove the battery cover a lot and I just don't think it's going to hold up with repeated stress like that.

Mine worked 1 foot from the computer. Five or 6 feet away and it did not work.
