This single phase power switch provides you with a heavy duty, hands-free safeguarding component for your workshop, woodworking machines and power tools. Plug and Play
The switch also features a quick and easy wiring configuration that allows you to use immediately. Mount the paddle switch where you want it and remember whether you want the cords to be visible or hidden. Connect the female cord to your power tool plug and then plug the switch male cord into your wall outlet. Both included cords are heavy duty and designed to stand up to everyday wear and tear commonly associated with workshop use.

Works perfectly! Much safer than the old light switch I had on my table saw. I didn't find the button to turn on power hard to press at all.

The switch works great. Love the large paddle style stop bar. I use this on a table saw and have ordered another one for my router table. Four Stars reflects one concern that I have with the switch; if you press the start button when the switch is unplugged and do not subsequently hit the stop button before plugging in into a power source, the plug will energize and, in my case, it started the saw. Now that I know this is how it works, I hit the stop button before plugging it in.

this is a 4.5 / 5 stars review.I added this to my router table. it work as advertised.The reason for the .5 deduction is that it does not have a mag switch, which to be fare it is not advertised to have one. If you are not familiar a mag switch will not power on the machine in case of a power failure.Still a very good switch.The Start button is intentionally hard to engage, which is a safety +.the Stop button under the large, red paddle is very responsive. Another +it comes with a long, 3 prong cord to plug in an outlet and another cord for the tool to plug in.very Happy of this purchase.

Replaced the old switch on a home-made router table with this unit. I liked the additional safety of having the large paddle off switch and located it where I could activate it with my knee in an emergency. The unit is well built, easy to install and has a high voltage rating so I could safely use even my three-horsepower router.

I like how simple the switch was plug and play as stated. One thing i didnt like was not soft start have to push hard on start to make it engage. I use for table saw.

Perfect for my router table I built in to the wing on my table saw. Nice thing is that there is no wiring required. Just plug it in to the wall with the 5 foot power cord and plug your router in to the female dongle. Simple. Must note that the "on" switch does take considerable pressure to activate which I imagine is a great safety feature.

I thought it was faulty at first but it turns out the green Start button needs quite the press to make it click. The unit is larger than I envisioned (I never looked at the measurements) which I’ve got mixed feelings about. I’m mostly for it as it’s kinda comical. The large Stop paddle works well, as one would hope. The cords are beefy so this paddle switch looks up to the task. I’m sure the Start button will grow on me which is the only reason for docking a star.
