Bought this to replace the Lucas alternator on my Triumph Spitfire. It was a bolt-on replacement. I had to purchase a slightly longer fanbelt at the FLAPS to finish the job.Works great, my ammeter/voltmeter shows it working as it should.Only gave it 4 stars due to a slightly annoying whirring noise it makes when running. Otherwise it's great.

Fit my 1980 Triumph Spitfire.Electrically, it’s plug and play.You may need a belt. As the pulley is larger than the oem Spitfire’s. You cannot swap them as the shaft is larger. The pulley is slightly forward, but that causes no problem with the belt.The adjustment tab is threaded for a metric bolt. To use the oem bolt you would drill the threads out to enlarge it slightly. I simply used a metric bolt.The unit comes with a test sheet, which is nice to see.

Perfect fit for a 1973 Triumph TR6. Came with fan and pulley. Works great with no modifications necessary.

Bearing noise plus doesn't solve the charging problem so a bad buy. Reached out to vendor, they replied by email and said "reach out for further information…". I did and then I never heard from them again!
