About this item

  • NOTE: 1. Since 2020.07.05, this items was soldered with 3.5mm Female banana connectors, effectively avoid welding problems; 2. We have set up the program, the ESC do not need additional program
  • Input voltage:2-4 S; BEC: 5V 3A; Working current: 30A / 40A (Optional on my shop)
  • Universal SimonK Firmware 30A/40A ESC Brushless Speed Controller, super simple. Small size combined with light weight for easy installation. (30A/40A is optional on my shop)
  • Military standard capacitor of extreme low resistance increases the ability of prevention of unwanted RF noise during flying. Extreme low resistance PCB is helpful for getting a super current endurance capability.
  • Microprocessor uses separate voltage regulator IC, with good anti-jamming capability.

NOTE: 1. ESC was soldered with 3.5mm Female banana connectors, effectively avoid welding problems; 2. have set up the Simonk Firmware program.

2.Throttle Calibration: Throttle range can be configured to provide best throttle linearity, fully compatible with all market available transmitters.
3.Programmable Items:Brake Setting:brake enabled/brake disabled. Battery Type:Li-xx(Li-ion or LiPo)/Ni-xx(NiMh or NiCd). Low Voltage Protection Mode(Cutoff Mode):Gradually reduce the output power/Cutoff the output power. Low Voltage Cutoff Protection Threshold (Cutoff Threshold):low/medium/high. Start Mode: normal/soft/very soft. Timing:low/medium/high. Reset: reset all the programmable items to their default settings.
4.Full Protection Features: Low voltage cutoff protection/Over-heat protection/Throttle signal lost protection.
Suggestion:Do a throttle range adjustment before taking off as following steps:
1.Connect ESC/motor/receiver
2.Push the remote control throttle to maximum
3.Connect power
4.Hear the regular sound of D- D- D……, unplug battery
5.Reconnect power and hear DD quickly sound
6.Pull the throttle to minimum
7.D sound once, calibration successful

Good power source.

I have been through four of these now, and don’t ask me why I have ordered so many after having so much trouble! Two of them burned out for no apparent reason, likely they are way overrated by their amperage. The other two caused some type of voltage transient, resulting in multiple plane crashes. The whole time I suspected faulty receivers, servos, etc.. After changing them all out and still dealing with the same problem, I switched out ESC’s. Miraculously, no problems! I don’t know how an ESC can cause so many issues, but between the interference and the outright failures, I am zero for four, and many, many lost hours trying to troubleshoot. I can’t steer you away from this product strongly enough!

I am going to go out on a limb and say these are highly over rated in the actual amps they can handle.

So when I first tried to use these they wouldn't work at all. My main problem turned out to be not having a common ground because I had different power sources for my Arduino controller and the ESC's/Motors. They all work great and don't seem to have any heating issues yet.Used with 935kv motors and 3S battery, working well so farFOR CALLIBRATING:1. Have motor/reciever sending data2. Throttle up to full3. Power the ESC/Motor3. You should hear 3 D's (means getting power) followed by 1 D (means getting HIGH signal)4. Lower throttle to the minimum5. You should hear 2 D's -- after that you should be good to throttle up
