Bought this coz it was on sale for a good price. But I won’t recommend buying this if it was on regular price… hhhhmmm not even on sale price. It still holds but it’s been bent slightly after 4 months. I still use it though but just to hold my bike for space

Others have experienced the same fault in design I experienced. The top plastic "elbow" is not long enough for the main vertical pole and it bends and breaks. It cannot take the weight of the bicycle. If this one part was fixed, then overall it would be good. Unfortunately this is a fatal flaw in the design.

Excellente conception.

Buy one of these. I’m not sure how people could possibly rate this negatively. I’ve worked on the park tool ones before and yes they are better if your putting up/taking down 10+ bikes a day. This stand is perfect for at home use. Spend the time building it properly and it won’t let you down. Amazing value, especially love the built in handle bar holder.

I love it! My first ever bicycle stand and it has everything that i need. Can grab the bicycle via seatpost or frame (impt if you need to remove seatpost to install dropper). Has a holder for handlebar to keep it from moving. Which is great if you need to align the stem and fork. And best of all it’s cheap! Recommend 6 out of 5 stars.

Recomendado.

Do not base your purchase of this product based on the negative reviews. I discovered from those reviews and from putting the main clamp piece on when I received it that you must ensure that all the connections are fully seated in the groves in the top tube, and horizontal clamp tube. If you do not do this, yes those portions which are made of plastic may break with the weight of your bike. The stand itself is actually quite durable when put together properly. It is very well made for a $100 bike stand.

I read all of the reviews for this bike stand -- and many reviews of competing stands in this very low price point -- and this one seemed to have the best combination of features and adjustability, particularly with the usage of quick release clamps for most adjustments instead of small knobs, as well as the inclusion of the front wheel stabilizer tool.Upon receipt, I was not disappointed. Unlike some of the other reviews, mine came with the legs properly assembled, and nothing was damaged or missing. All I had to do was install the clamp assembly on the top with the included hex wrench, and install the tool bin clamp. However, I'm surprised no one else has mentioned in the other reviews that, with the tool bin installed, the folding legs cannot slide closed 100%. This is not a deal-killer for me, as I can still fold the legs about 90% closed, or I can choose to just remove the tool bin.I bought this to safely hold my carbon bike using the seat tube, which this stand does perfectly. The best way to do this is the release the rotation clamp to allow the bike to find its center of gravity, then tighten it. It results in the bike hanging at a steep angle as shown in my photo, but it's very stable and still easy to work on. Note that, if you do this, there needs to be about 5 inches of seat tube exposed. If your seats is low, the large clamp head will not fit unless you raise your seat. Of course, if I chose to clamp it to my carbon top tube, it would fit and be held level, but clamping a carbon frame is very risky.I gave this 5 stars in relation to its price point, which is less than 1/3 of what I would have paid to buy a more pro oriented one in a bike store. Yes, this has a lot of plastic parts, but it seems very sturdy and durable, and is perfect for a DIY-er for occasional repairs, maintenance, and cleaning.
