This is super handy if you want to determine how much power an electrical device that runs on 110 volts consumes and if it uses a steady or varying amount of power.

I'm glad I found this power meter. It does everything I need, which is to measure how much current my appliance is using and the cost.The instruction manual is written in proper English! It is easy to follow the instructions on how to set up the device. There is also a user replaceable battery (CR2032) that saves the settings and data in case of a power outage. Most importantly, this power meter is CSA and CETL certified. Less expensive power meters I have found are only CE certified, which is not good enough for me and most insurance companies.

Gets one star removed for not being able to move the decimal point in the cost setting ...despite the advertisement and manual that claims you can. (I contacted REID on this and they confirmed it and said they would fix the misinformation. Other than that this is a top notch piece of equipment that should be in any technicians toolbox.
