As the title of this review explains the bar code sticker has ruined my precious Christmas gift to my husband. Also, not only did they damage the color of the folding rule, the sticky residue leaves a bluish color from lighly removing the small pieces with a microfiber cloth and mineral oil. Just sad. Also, my husband saw this tool in his book in consteuction school so I thought it would be perfect since he talked about the brand so much. Never again!

I've used this in the field and around the house, and it hasn't let me down once. Made of sturdy materials with clear, accurate markings.

The rule is very solidly built and works well. My three star rating is because it does not have a sliding extension on the end segment for use in inside measurements. Since I use a folding rule almost exclusively for inside measurements, the lack of the extension makes the rule pretty much useless for me.I have to take some of the blame because I assumed the sliding extensions would be there as it is in all of my other folding rules. The description doesn't not mention the extension. I erroneously assumed that all sliding rules had one.

Good quality product. my only complaint would be that when it's extended it is quite flimsy, but it's not a problem for what I'm using it for.
