this worked for both my fat bike and my mountain bike. They are both between 30 and 40 pounds. Solid construction, and great value. highly recommended.

I did not use it for its intended purpose, however I think I really pushed it to its limits. I used it to build a portable Live Sonar setup, and it preformed amazingly. Easy to use, great value for money, it didn't look out of place, and it has a bit of weight to it, Which shows how well built it is.

I wasn't expecting a really strong bench stand given the price, but it works fine for my needs. I have heavy cruisers and carbon mountain bikes. It works well for the mountain bikes if I mount close to the balance point of the bike, which is the top tube of the frame. Clamping down on a carbon frame is generally a no-no, but if you do it carefully and don't expect to be wrenching hard on the bike it is just fine. It is not strong enough to hold the bike on the seat post or for the heavy cruisers.I like the compactness and space efficiency of bench stands to compliment my floor stand which takes up a lot more space and isn't that much stronger.Overall, for what it is and how much is costs, I find it to be slightly above expectations.

Better than expected. Easy to use. Could have a bigger tab to lock from turning. Over all I recommend this if you don’t want to spend the money for a bike repair stand

I bought this product because it IS a bench mount bike work stand. I did not want to spend mega bucks on something I'll only use a few times a year to tune up my road bike. On receiving it, I was very happy to find the stand is made of steel with strong plastic and silicone clamps and parts. In their description, they only mention "plastic and silicone", which I have bought to their attention.I give this 5 stars because it is perfect for my needs. I do not screw this down as my bench is steel, so I use a couple of clamps to hold it in place. This works perfectly and very happy with the work stand.

I bought this as a compound bow vice, not for bikes. Works well to hold my PSE Drive NXT for maintenance.I have high end mountain bikes and it works well to hold the bikes too. It will clam onto any thing you stick in the jaws for the most part.

It seems like the screws that come with a lot of products are cheaply made and strip easily. Not the ones that came with this bike stand. The screws are well forged and survived the installation process. That being said the rest of the stand is not bad. I wanted one that could be installed onto a work bench. This one fit that bill. Once installed I tried it out on my mountain bike and my Aventon Soltera 7. The MTB was a little too heavy for it. It would keep one wheel off the floor and that was it. Still, good enough for my purposes. I am not a professional. The stand was able to support the full weight of the Soltera 7. Considering the amount of plastic I don't know how long this stand will last. I can see where it would have been better if the clamp had been made out of metal. I would have paid extra for that. Time will tell how long it will be around for.

Paid $55 CAD to my door for this bench-top mounted bike clamp. It came with mounting hardware, but I screwed-in easily with my own oversize screws onto my bench top, and voila! It can hold up my heavy enduro bikes adequately...but it does freespin/rotate around the Z-axis. the Yaw angle clamps firmly...so it's just missing a restraint in one degree of freedom. Fine for light duty work, or to hold an item you've just removed from your bike which is occupying your only bike stand. Like having a friend around. Also it does a passable job at clamping...though it is made with a cheesy firm plastic and not a nice thick softer durometer rubber...and they can slip off either end. However it does not mar a dropper posts' stanchion. It's not as nice as the BikeHand's clamp on their free-standing stand...and both obviously far below the capability and ease-of-use of a Park Tool clamp arm......but for a budget choice, and a budget item, it fits the bill. I have also bought some photochromic bike glasses from Rockbros, they offer reasonable stuff at fairly economic prices.
